Well, right now it's being used for the Flower & Garden Festival as the festival's headquarters.
Other than that, it's been used for the headquarters of some of the other special events that happen at Epcot as of late anyway.
As far as demolishing it or doing something different, I haven't heard anything lately.

Our own Epcotservo's last Epcot update showed the inside of WoL all decked out for the F&G festival.

It will be turned into a pin stand/DVC booth/McDs frys stand/Fire Mountain/Beastly Kingdom/Monorail Expansion stop/Narnia land/River of Lights/Reflections of Earth replacement/Mt Fuji/Horizons re-do/Weather Channel/and entrance gate to the 5th gate hybrid pavilion.

I was thinking about the Weather pavilion presented by the Weather Channel! in the old Wonder of Life. And I hope this will be official. I hope!

If I remember correctly, and I may not, it was last opened as a skeleton of itself for Christmas 2006.

That would be cool!!! I would love that and they could do a lot with it. They could do 'Presentation Earth'. Weather, green stuff, plants, and medical could be part of it.
On a side note, why doesn't the mobile turn anymore? When is the last time it was turned on?

Tehe, yer every time we were in the pavillion over the 2006 holiday season it was like spot the human.

I'm sorry but isn't most of that represented in the land???? Why would they do something so closely similar to that... The season (weather) is represented in living with the land and in the lobby/resturant area. True it does not mention about Hurrcaines and storms...but the whole earth, green "stuff" plants...I believe is all in THE LAND...or did we forget about this since the soarin has been put in the rest of that pavillion is ingored?? Just kidding I know its not. I guess they could do this Weather pavillion..but I guess focus on the future and science of Weather...but not on the "green stuff" haha:wave:

Disney officially announced late last year that the pavillion as we knew it will never return.

You guys have it all wrong....
My very good freind who is in upper Management with Parks Merchandise said they will officially make an announcement May1 on what it will be.
W.O.M Wonders of Merchandise.
It will be a dark ride attraction on the process on Disney Merchandise and how it goes to the first concepts to the stores and into your suitcase.
I do believe they will have Joe Rhodes doing the main story line on this as well.
