Rumor Wonders of Life getting an attraction soon?

I always joke about it but it seems WoL is the one pavilion that no one really remembers, including Disney.
It's the pavilion I remember most as a kid (in 1990). Specifically, I thought Body Wars was simply epic. I was sad when I returned 15 years later as an adult and couldn't find it again.

Everyone seems to miss Journey Into Imagination and Horizons, yet I have no memory of those whatsoever.

Imagination by far had the biggest impact on my first visit in 97 (or 98?). Then when I came back in 99 and experienced the train wreck known as JIYI, I shifted to WoL. I didn't do Horizons (and Food Rocks) which is odd since I did everything else in Epcot. WoL felt like a pavilion (duh) since you would walk into this huge, open dome and have all sorts of things to explore where the other ones had a ride attached to a open space (or so it felt to a 7 year old me). The Seas was similar in that regard plus the Hydrolators were awesome. BW was ST turned up two levels higher and Cranium Command was a such a fun show. I was bummed when I came down on a 2007 trip and it was closed. The area loop was awesome too.

Everything since has been lazy.
I jokingly called M:S a Dollar General once. DG puts some effort to make the front just barely decent enough (not saying it looks good) then stops trying everywhere else. Granted, M:S is actually a very neat and unique entrance for a warehouse.

"With EPCOT's only rollercoaster going in that corner, I think WoL's position in the park is significantly improved. It wouldn't surprise me if they brought that pavilion back to something. With Guardians, MS, and TT on that side, I wouldn't expect a thrill ride, but some kind of omnimover attraction in that pavilion or boat ride with a massive capacity would be a benefit to the park to continue balancing things out and spreading crowds." jknezek from Disboards....
I know I'm crazy cross referencing forums, but it just makes so much sense. There's going to be sooo much foot traffic over there. Please bring back something, Disney! :p

Wonders of life was my fav pavillion other than The Land...it felt expansive and the dome was magnetic! I dragged the other half in it during Food and Wine just to walk and sit for 45 min.

And M:S is not THAT bad. I kinda like it and itll be around for some time...
I agree it isn't bad. The refurb made the ride much better in my personal opinion. It's just a case of the replacement not living up to what it replaced. Too bad M:S couldn't of went someplace else and Horizons was updated. Sort of like MMR and GMR. MMR will be great from what the insiders have said but GMR should've stayed while MMR went someplace else.

It probably depends on how much money they'd want to spend, but I would gladly welcome a new omnimover. They're gonna need a people eater over there and a omni would probably be the answer to it.

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
I'm pretty sure Pete's main role in the ride was actually working on the animated pre-show. But yeah, pretty fun coincidence isn't it?
Am I the only one that ever thought Buzzy's voice sounded drastically different between the pre-show and the actual show? I always thought the pre-show Buzzy voice sounded more cartoony/comedic while the actual show Buzzy's voice sounded like... Well, a little kid.

All I’ve gotta say on the matter is.. judging by the amount of Figment exposure and merch that we’ve been getting recently (most of which are clearly based/styled on the original attraction mind you) (for instance, the two Flower and Garden statues. The Figment painting with flowers is a clear reference to the original Arts scene, and the Figment looking through the crystal ball (clearly a reference to the original ending with the fortune telling Dreamfinder). I honestly think that Figment (and Dreamfinder hopefully) will keep their home at the Imagination Pavilion and that either 1.) We’ll get the original attraction with upgraded technology and new/enhanced effects or 2.) a new attraction that has the same spirit and theme as the original. 🙂 If anything, I hope Inside Out will take over Cranium Command at Wonders of Life since again, like everyone else has said, Pete Docter directed both projects and it fits perfectly there. Cause honestly, I absolutely hate the idea of Inside Out replacing the Imagination pavilion.

The whole Cranium Command connection to Inside Out is one of the reasons I've said from the beginning Inside Out should go into the cranium theater. Inside Out doesn't need a dark ride, IMO, a theater show works great for this type of IP. But you shouldn't sustain a pavilion on just a theater show. Personally, I'd move Cranium Command to the Magic Eye theater (saving Figment) and base the WOL pavilion around Big Hero 6. Though I'd be OK with both having a presence in the same pavilion, but I think BH6 could work better as a pavilion that could at least manage to seem like it fits the Epcot of old. Inside Out is great but simply belongs in the theater. It's just too perfect of a fit. I don't need a dark ride, but i'm sure it'd be fun.

I'm surprised people are just now making the connection between Cranium and Inside Out. For me it doesn't fit Imagination because it's about emotions, it isn't about Riley having a figment of her imagination coming to life. She isn't dreaming about the emotions in her head.

I don't see why both can't exist. I get the sentiment of wanting originality though. But I also don't mind IP's in certain cases. If BH6 and Inside Out were designed specifically for Epcot and weren't in a movie no one would be upset. It's kind of interesting if you try and look at it from another way. But I'd love theme park originality as well. What if Figment had been a movie before he was put into Epcot?
