Any idea on when the Matterhorn is going to go down?

I am going to Disneyland 1/3-1/7 and will be sad to miss it!

Pirates of the Caribbean has been closed for three months, and is about to open tomorrow. An interesting note from Mr. Lutz today on the front page of Miceage.com

EDITOR’S NOTE 11/23: Pirates of the Caribbean is finished with the mechanical part of its three month rehab, and they've been cycling the boats all week while WDI fusses over last minute items. However, a boat full of TDA suits rode through on Tues afternoon and came back with a list of details that need to be fixed with the show before they will allow the ride to open. Yes, there are actually execs in Anaheim now who care about the details, even though the park is slammed with huge crowds this week and they'd like the ride capacity. It's unlikely they'll get all the items on the list completed by Wed evening, and the ride likely won't open until Thanksgiving morning. - Al Lutz

I'm avoiding Disneyland this week due to the big crowds, but I might stop by on Sunday afternoon to ride my favorite; Pirates of the Caribbean.

Big Thunder went down and is now back in operation.


As this 2011 refurbishment thread winds down there is already a huge pile of refurbishments headed to DLR come Jan 2012. Keep on the look out for the new thread soon.
