It also looks like they're going to repave the street around the Hub.
Much of the cement was already cut in preparation.

It appears that Critter Country will be going down for refurbishment all at once. Kinda like what happened in 2003 before Pooh opened and Splash was down for a significant amount of time.

Wow, they're closing Critter Country entirely for six weeks?

I guess it makes sense, but that came out of nowhere.

^I'm not. The DLR isn't afraid to shut down stores and attractions for maintenance. That's why we're in such better shape than WDW.

Critter Country is now down, along with Pooh, and Canoes.

it's a small world is now back to its normal self.

Animation returned, and received some new carpet

Mark Twain is now down for about a week and a half

Also Columbia and Goofy's house are now added to the list, the years have been fixed to the correct year too. See the OP for the full list.

Some smaller updates that may impact you

No FP for Buzz as current rumor says Buzz will lose FP and it will become FP for Star Tours.

Also no FP as Space Mountain due to repaving work

Just when Tomorrowland finally all got the brick pavers they go and change it, well it started last year? but its nice to see new pavement, if only they could finish that last little patch on Thunder Trail..

Star Trader closes today for a lengthy refurbishment. The OP has been updated with the correct closure dates of 02|14|11---05|01|11. In the mean time Star Trader will be at the Starcade.

I really hope they figure something out with that Star Wars section of the store it always seemed out of place to me, not the merch but the overall layout of the store.

Yes, it always felt cramped and odd back there. But remember, it's basically the same structure as it was in the 1950's when the current Star Wars nook of the Star Trader was the entrance lobby of the Monsanto Hall of Chemistry.

There's a myth that the New Tomorrowland of 1967 totally rebuilt the land. But those two big entry buildings on each side of the Tomorrowland entry boulevard were really just re-skinned versions of the original buildings from 1955. And the new Star Tours 2.0 is going in to a building that has been repurposed three times already in the last 56 years. :eek:

The Critter Country refurbishment dates have been updated, the previous date was 03|08|11 the new date is 03|10|11.

Also the Mark Twain has returned to service.

Fastpass has returned to Space Mountain, as the repaving in front of Space has completed, look for more walls around Tomorrowland as the Tomorrowland repaving continues to replace the brick pavers with a cement diamond look.

Silly Symphony Swings is now listed on Disneyland.com
Soundsational, Mermaid, and Star Tours have grand opening dates.

So Critter Country will reopen on 03|10|11, expect for Hungry Bear which reopens with a new menu on 03|18|11, and Splash Mountain on 05|28|11.

The new date for Star Trader is the same just changed since I had it listed as being closed on the day that it reopens. If that makes since, 04|30|11 its closed but 05|01|11 its open

The Main Street vehicles should return tomorrow.

"it's tough to be a bug" has also completed its short refurbishment.
