Will there ever be a ride that surpasses Spiderman at IOA?

For me, The Mummy either tops or ties Spider Man. I can't really envision going to Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure and not doing both without being disappointed.

I would largely agree with Wilt Dasney's post on Spider Man, except for the ending. I truly feel I am in the experience at the end, and that feeling keeps me coming back for more.

dude, it's a great ride, it really is. i just think you're dumb and prejudiced in ranking it above all the other rides. those articles don't mean a thing as they aren't comparing it to other great rides. And at the time it's still basking in the glow of it being a great new original ride. It's still nowhere near as thrlling and immersive as Spidey, Pooh, Indy and the first Tower.

and the more you try to argue the more you're making me hate this ride.

Sorry on this board, you can't use the word dumb to insult someone. I'm reporting this as a bad post. I can easily say the same to you because you're not even reading it. All the reviews point to it being better than Indy or have you forgotten that there's an Indy at DisneySea also? Why else would they say that JTTCOTE is the best ride at park/world? If you don't agree, just ignore it then. Everybody has the right to feel the way they want. I'm not trying to say you're wrong, just that I don't feel that way.

P.S- I'm starting to get the feeling that you're a kid.

well, for your information, I've read all those articles plenty of times. and you just defeated yourself, why don't you respect MY opinions and try not to sway me by complaining about my ranking JTTCOTE below Indy?

WOW... You of all people saying this, given the dribble you provided on the EE threads.

Hi Pot, this is Kettle Calling. You're black.

I never said that I wasn't one, just that he's acting like one also. Besides, I'm only 17.
Can we just forget about which rides are better. They are all unique and everyone can have their favorites.

P.S- Even though I had proof that JTTCOTE is better. Reviews don't lie....

I was about to add that. mr. "how tall is the drop exactly?", "how much steel is used to build this" "how fast does it go exactly in so and so measurement"

I really do like both rides. Maybe you can explain why M:S is a more technologically advanced ride. Enlighten me, because I obviously don't know what I am talking about. :)

Well I do know M:S was on heck of a problem during design. I spoke with one of the engineers who helped to design it. Disney had sent a plan to E.T.C.(Earth Techtonics Company, a company that specializes in simulators) that was pretty much impossible. E.T.C. had to completely redesign the ride to acheive the forces necessary for the ride. If I had to guess I would say that M:S is much more technologically advanced. Spidey is EMV plus screens. But, again that is just a guess.

Don't post false accusements to me. Those words were never spoken.
Why do you keep bringing this on when I'm willing to drop the argument?

Only in Objectivity is there proof, however, since when can a reviewers personal taste be objective? Reviews are subjective, statistics are objective. Hence, all reviews are lies. The only review that should matter to you is your own.

Just biased

How do I know you're not biased? It's 6 to one, do the math. Besides, I can find plenty more people who agree that JTTCOTE is better than Indy or ToT like stitchcastle, who's definitely not biased even though he says Pooh's Hunnt Hunt is better.

because even though you claim to "drop the argument" you still push in your "victory" over the argument rather than just shutting up about the topic.

I'm not sure why this posting is in WDW parks general discussion -- in particular since there are rides all over the country, outside of Florida, that offer far better rides. If you are comparing SpiderMan to anything at Disney - I would strongly argue that SOARIN' is far superior to most anything out there, Spiderman or not, as far as a complete "ride"...but I would also strongly argue that the best rides in general are not in Florida -- Cedar Point's Millenium Force roller coaster would probably win that one hands down for anyone living in the midwest, especially trying to compare it to WDW, let alone Spiderman...in other markets there are rides that people find superior. ON the other hand, I think it is great that the original poster loves Spiderman, the ride...it is great that people enjoy these things! That is why they are there, and that is why there is a wide variety of adventure out there! But to try to compare Spiderman as the "best ride" to anything at WDW is silly.

Well, then I say that JTTCOTE is the best ride. I don't care if you think different.

Fine. This argument is over. No ride is better, nor is any ride worse.

So finally, we have an agreement. Haunted Mansion and Snow White's Scary Adventures are both equally enjoyable....right? :lookaroun

I don't disagree with your opinion, but I disagree with the way you present an argument. I find it very hard to take anything you say seriously given your possible past as a banned member and the meaningless arguments you have now.

Take a debate class and learn to form proper arguments. Then prove someone wrong without reacting personally to the arguments they present, even IF you have been attacked. Stay above them. Do this, and I will take you seriously. Do this regularly, and I may even respect you.

6 to 1, funny, it's amost like you're saying that those 6 statements are the be-all, end-all opinions on which ride is the second coming.

I know for a fact that I am not biased because I respect all of those rides to be great experiences. I fact, Journey is one of my favorite rides! i like it better than Tower of Terror. i just happen to understand that the over-all expereince brought forth by Indy, Spidey, Pooh, and ToT are better than JTTCOTE.

Fine, it's your favorite ride, but that doesn't mean it's the Best

before you judge me and say i'm a kid, do yourself a favor and grow up.
