I am liking what they are doing here. I'm looking forward to see what it looks like in the end.

no not really... it was the amount of roofs, not the lack of trees... and I am not doing anything but commenting on the photograph that was presented....currently it looks like..... That was not my final judgement.It's already been reported by insiders that they will be planting a lot more trees once the construction is finished. I guess you would have complained about the entire 100 acre clearing they did to build MK before it was even half finished.

Will likely be same simple rope fence as rest of the beach area. The aim is to keep people out the water, not stop the alligators getting on land.
Fair enough, but not really fair. Disney had to remove trees in order to allow for a safe construction area. You may certainly disagree with them doing it at all, but that is a different discussion. We shouldn't judge something until they are finished, and then we can blast it.

Boulder Ridge Cove, Geyser Point Bar & Grill Opening in Summer 2017 – Scheduled to open at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in summer 2017, Boulder Ridge Cove pool will feature an expanded sun deck and zero-depth-entry pool in what appears to have been an abandoned rock quarry. Geyser Point Bar & Grill, a new quick-service eatery, will be located in the heart of the feature pool area of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Yesterday, DVC members were sent an e-mail that encouraged direct inquires about the property:

I got the same email. I don't think these are the cabins, I think these are the converted studios in that one wing of the Lodge. When I talked to my sales rep last month, he told me the new studios would open this year - he didn't know when the cabins would be ready for sale. The sales center isn't completed yet.

It's insane how large that conversion is. The entire east side of the original resort is now DVC. Still wondering if any of those studios are part of the original DVC ( Boulder Ridge) property or part of the new, don't recall the name, property which the cabins are part of.

Jeez! I thought when I bought Grand Floridian points 3 years ago that I payed alot. 130 per point isn't looking so bad now.

Ahh the Boulder wall by the pool makes sense. I was wondering how they were going to make the pool not annoying to those cabins that are right behind it.

My guess is they start with a "discount" around $170 maybe even $165 then they go up to $180 once sales get going strong. Being off the monorail, I don't know if they can start them at $180 and hope to draw good sales volume. WL hotel rooms cash price is always less than the monorail resorts.
