Personally I have no problem with them.
Most "bashers' live in this world where Disney should NEVER change ANYTHING (For an effective example of what happens then...try visitng Opryland!) A lot of the "bashers" think that current management is not doing what Walt would do. (Hint he's dead, unless you are channeling him HOW do you know what he would do?) I think some folks really believe he can be defrosted and come back to run Disney.
Just ignore the "bashers" figure that they are just jealous. (By the way, from what I am reading resort bookings and park admissions are UP. Makes you wonder why current promos are so "horrid" LOL!)
If you read through the responses, you will see that the reasons are quite the contrary from your conclusions.
What IS wanted from these people is change, progress, high standards and innovation. The WWWD card has not been brought up either.
For an example of what is desired by many here, use Matt Ouimet at DL as an example. The park had been so neglected for so many years, and he basically said enough, shut down and overhauled large sections of the park and returned it to a glory not seen in 20 years. This has nothing to do with being stagnant...quite the opposite.
If I can summarize, the main problems with much of current management is that they are pure business...spread sheets, profit margins. While that is critical to the success of any business, the Disney parks require more. They require a hands on, involved management, they require imagination and innovation and art. Those intangibles are not easily translated to the bottom line, but are what makes Disney unique.
