Why the Hatred Towards Meg Crofton and Jay Rasulo?

Out of couriosity, is Disney, (the company, not the parks,) owned by, or a division of, some giant, 'unseen' parent company? Or is Disney the big guy with divisions like ABC, ESPN and others (i'm sure)? Like many big giants, there are numerous divisions which have nothing to do with each other. I was just hoping Disney calls its own shots and not some jerk who only cares about the numbers and not Disneys entertainment interest in all its aspect.

The main point of my post, (which I don't think I explained well,) is that I know all of the major studios in Hollywood are now owned by large companies who don't give a flip about movie making. Nice to know Disney is its own mouse. And even though every company has its share of bean counters, at least they have Disneys interest in mind. But I agree, they should throw some of those bean into the entertainment aspect to benefit the consumer on a daily basis.
