Why not do what Universal does?

Fastpass+ is free and saves me hours of standing in lines with the 3 I get to choose from. Just sayin'.
Where are you staying at WDW?

Last year, we stayed at Portofino Bay that ran $189/night with AP discount. With that we got 2 days of express pass for 4 people. I find Uni to be considerably less expensive than WDW. $159 AP renewal. $189/night 4 star accommodations with AP discount.

Oh, and Uni's EP is far superior to Disney's FP+. A lot has to do with, if Uni had their druthers, they wouldn't offer any type of EP/FP+. It really screws up que flow. But they have to offer something because Disney has one. But the only reason it works is because no one uses it.

1. You usually don't need it.
2. Expensive.

So for the 2300 rooms that get them included, it is an amazing perk. And totally makes Uni hotels a veritable bargain.

But the EP system would never work at WDW. Only 2300 rooms at Uni get them. That is a thousand less rooms than Port Orleans alone. But, they could probably get away with free WDWorldWide® Unlimited FP+® for just The Grand.

We DON'T stay "at" WDW. Like I said before, we stay offsite when we visit the parks.

Frankly, you don't need "time" at WDW because the park hours are longer and more reasonable compared to how Universal closes their parks closer to 7 or 8 PM.

What do you suppose saves you more time - a system that allows you quick access to 3 rides or a system that allows you quick access to almost every ride?

Which* do you suppose saves you money? An extra $80.00 for four people total or no charge at all for 3 headliner attractions?

Well, now you're changing the topic from time to money. But that's what people do when they have no response to the topic at hand. Anyway, since you asked, allow me to respond. If $80 is a big deal to you, then Disney probably isn't the vacation you should be taking.

I started talking about money from the beginning of my argument. Not sure where you got that idea from.

Oh, and since you asked, name the 3 headliner attractions that FP+ allows you to do at Epcot and Hollywood Studios. And before you attempt to answer, allow me to remind you of that lovely tier system that Disney uses. You know, the one that Universal does NOT use.

I completely agree with you that if the extra cost is a concern, then the FP+ system is preferable. However, if the extra cost does not matter to you, then the express pass system is better 8 days a week.

But Express Pass is not available for all rides, like Forbidden Journey and Gringotts.......

Imagine if some of the more popular rides/M&Gs at the Magic Kingdom didn't allow FP+. Not all rides at DLR have fastpass.

I use Express Pass at Uni (comes with hotel room for everybody staying in the room)and I really like the time it saves. I would pay extra for more Fast Pass+ access With Uni, you don't have to decide two months in advance what you're riding when. (Does that sentence make any sense?) :)

Only at the three "Deluxe" hotels - Cabana Bay rooms don't include Express Pass and the new "deluxe" won't either.
