Now, if you want a kick in the pants here in Central FL, I just rode Falcon's Fury (drop tower) a couple of times last week. Oh my, that's a ride!
That's fantastic. Millennium Force is probably still my favorite coaster, although I wasn't little when it opened lol. I still have a soft spot for Magnum, too. It opened when I was 12, and I instantly fell in love. When my youngest Princess was 6, Millennium Force (310', 96 mph) at CP was her favorite ride.
BTW, she (now 14) rode Falcon's Fury with me last week. After the 3rd ride she declared it boring.
What makes Falcon's Fury so intense is they roll you over 90° so you are face down with nothing below you. You are literally laying on the restraints.
Oh-kay...now that I've done my charity work for the day - moving on...
You got me. I block out Astro Orbiter haha. That is the one MK attraction I have never, ever been on. It's funny, when I was a kid I just was too scared of the height at 7 to go on it, and when I went back to WDW at 10 it was closed. As an adult it's never gotten me to go up, mostly because the TTA is right there and every time I think about it I just end up drifting over to TTA since it's one of the best rides in the park. Plus they let you stay on it as many times as you want. I think my personal record is 7 circuits - I've always said if they offered food delivery on that ride I'd spend the better part of the day.
I've done probably the two tallest rides in the world, and that makes me nervous. What makes Falcon's Fury so intense is they roll you over 90° so you are face down with nothing below you. You are literally laying on the restraints.
Interesting. I never realized that part bothered so many people, especially to the point of nearly blacking out. It's just "okay, going backwards now" to me. Although, I'm that person that can ride any roller coaster, but I even look at a spinning teacup and .
Haha! Roger Rabbit doesn't bother me for some reason, I actually really enjoy it (may it soon RIP ). M:S doesn't make me sick, but I do get a little claustrophobic and usually have a headache by the end. Those are the exceptions however, most spinning rides do not agree with me.Oh now that I hear you! It started when I was in my early 20's - ever since then - if it spins, I skip it. Just can't do it. Hate it. Makes my stomach churn. I did a Tilt A Whirl ten years ago and I thought I was gonna die. I went to a regional park awhile back with my friends and they laughed at me because I won't do a lot of the "kiddie" rides because of it but I'll jump on anything big. They all get squeamish about water rides with drops, etc. - but I love them. Even one as steep as Jurassic Park - all over that, love it. But as you said - teacups? I don't think so haha.
(When I went to Disneyland, I just had to do Roger Rabbit as a massive dark ride fan, and thank goodness I was riding with a massage therapist who has extremely strong arm muscles so we could keep it from spinning so I could actually enjoy it haha.)
But roller coasters, most thrill rides - do nothing like that to me. But stick me on a carnie ride, and I'm done for! Interestingly, M:S doesn't really bother me though. Something about Everest, though...my niece loves it, and because of her complications in loading on the ride they have often allowed us to stay on multiple times (it saves everyone time, because it takes us a good couple of minutes to get her on and then off) I've done it twice in a row before - and I will for her - but if I went a third time, I'd be down for an hour after, LOL.

I always thought it was the subject matter that made Body Wars more of a puke machine then Star Tours. Motion sickness+queaziness from looking at people's insides=Problems keeping lunch down. It's like how Star Tours and Body Wars were the same exact ride system, but I could ride Star Tours all day but the motion in Body Wars just made me want to...well, I'm eating a slice of pizza right now so I don't want to describe that.

That's me! I can ride coasters all day long but spin me in a tight circle over and over and I'm done.Interesting. Astro Orbiter is hands down, the best Disney spinner.Oh-kay...now that I've done my charity work for the day - moving on...

I am a coaster junkie. Never met one I didn't like. That being said, EE is the only one I cannot ride all day long. And yeah, it's the backwards portion that does me in.That's what's funny, I've never been on one of those mega-one-on-a-continent ones, but I have been on a lot of pretty decent ones. It's not that it scares me or anything, haha - it's the backwards thing. I've even been on fully backwards coasters that haven't bothered me, but the forward and then backward and then forward again just does something in my tummy LOL.

Research EnFilms blueprints....posted many times here....Does anyone have Everest layouts though?
Five: Teacups and Carousel. They already have three: Dumbo, Aladdin, and Astro Orbiter.
