Ditto. We will be there in April '12 with my disabled Vet brother also in an ECV...(we're thankful for his 20+ yr. Army service) and my "extremely young" 84 yo mother. Just announcing in advance that this party will be using ECV space on the bus and staying at POR. Have hoped on each of our visits to meet other WDWMagic members.

We often go in April or May so maybe we'll run into you (a little ECV humor). In the meantime tell your brother I thank him for his service and welcome home.

We will be there from the 11th to the 16th. Tall goofy guy, w/ short typically embarrassed of me fiance. If your in EPCOT and see a guy wearing a shirt that says " I Love the smell of Rome burning in the morning" that would be me.

Love the t-shirt!! I want one!

I found out after the fact that I spent an entire evening at the AC along with the infamous Thwarn.

Aside from that I have met quite a few forum members face to face in the parks. Many of them have become very good friends. The great thing about on-line Disney friends is that you ave a great common place to meet face to face.
I IRL trolled one of our old trolls RobFL... I miss him.

Was in San Diego a few years ago for work, befriended someone at a work-related "event," who was there with some of HER coworkers, that looked like she'd rather be somewhere else. We had a nice chat, exchanged business cards, made fun of some of the same people getting drunk, etc. Disney, to the best of my recollection, never came up.

A few months later, I saw a post here from a semi-regular visitor. She had changed her avatar and she looked really familiar, but I couldn't place her. She lived too far for me to have dated or tried to date in my single days (actually she would've been too young for me to date when I was single, as she was barely in her 20s at the time of her post, I don't mind age disparities, but I DO mind jail time), but the familiarity of her pic was downright annoying. Then I put two and two together, pulled out my wallet, found the business card of the girl I met in San Diego that night, sure enough, her picture was on the card and it was the same as her avatar. I send her a PM, was honored she remembered me, and we still chat once in a while...kinda funny we didn't really talk much about Disney, as it's a topic that often comes up when I'm around.
