Stay classy. Oh, and by the way, not every terrorist is Muslim/Middle Eastern. Hope that doesn't open up your narrow worldview TOO much.
This is true...While visiting my wifes relatives in the Phillipines...we had to "escape' the southern part of the islands to return to Manila...but they were a splinter group...Abu Sayyaf...they wanted to "talk" to us while we were visiting...their talk consists of kiddnapping, extortion, rape and murder of any infiedel...so..yea..I knda have a dim view at times. I just hate that that we have had to change so much here..and the cost...can you not remember going to the airport without the long wait (and being able to take a Walt Disney snowglobe in your carry on) and being able to meet someone on the main concourse? I am sure the skyline in New York is VERY much missing something also...sorry..not going off on ya..just venting...I do support the troops..but also think of those lives lost. Next time I will choose my words differently!

Not to mention some of the militias in the US of A, "Repent Amarillo," Ted Kaszcinski (sp?) the OKC bomber, the Anthrax scares post 9/11, Columbine, the dude who shot up the progressive church last year because he was convinced the government was going to take his guns, last month's attack on the IRS...

Just because they might not be shouting Allah Akbar and doing a kamikaze dive doesn't mean they're not using acts designed to instill terror in people who are not soldiers and are not involved in a war...which is kinda what terrorism is. Sometimes it's about a means to achieve an end. Sometimes it's just about scaring the crap out of people and forcing them to change their lifestyle or deal with the aftermath of a nut job who just shattered their world.

As was posted earlier, www.eyesonears.com is a great site for Disney webcams. Members of the site set up webcams from the resort or hotel where they are staying. Of course, it is done through the generosity of those who take their own time and equipment to stream from their location. There is a calendar of upcoming steams on the site. The next scheduled cams come up on March 11th. If you are looking for a Disney fix between your trips to WDW, I recommend this site.

grumpylover, the people who tend to get banned are either people who joined for the sole reason of directing traffic to another site or people looking to do something illegal like trade bootlegged videos or sell fastpasses or sell tickets with unused days. Quite often, the banned fit both categories, like people who join to link to their ebay store where they sell song of the south and out of print "in the Disney Vault" copies of videos.

OK so lets' try and get this thing back on the rails....

It seems like this has gotten a pretty positive response sooooooo since so many folks are interested in them why don't we talk about our favorite views in the parks/resorts we would wanto to visit online.

I think this might have gotten lost in the anti-semitism responses....If you would tune in to webcams then what scene would you most love to visit on a regular basis that would put you on the edge of smacking down the deposit on your next pilgrimage to WDW? I am curious to see what gets everyones sap rising.

I am thinking...

Magic Kingdom
-Main street station looking down main street
-Tomorrowland on the orbiter looking toward the hub
-Back side of the castle looking towards dumbo/carousel

Epcot
-Front and rear of SSE looking towards the entrance and main fountain
-Somewhere around The Living Seas looking towards Soarin'
-France looking down the main walkway at the back of the lagoon

DHS (MGM Studios...it will always be for me!)
-Mickeys hat looking down toward entrance
-The bridge at Pixar Place looking towards backlot

I am drawing a blank on AK

Misc
-Contemporary looking towards MK
-Top of the pirate ship at Beach Club looking at the Boardwalk

These are some of my favorite views that I visit in my head when I am longing to get back to the parks.:(

I would like to see one permanent live web cam at WDW that operates 24 hrs. a day:

Mounted in the castle looking down Main Street toward the train station.

Just so you could tune into to it and feel that you are there.

:)

A camera on top of the BLT properly positioned or even the Poly would make for perfect viewing and would not compromise security or crowd levels. You still could get great views of the MK and a nice fireworks show. Also if it was on the Poly you get to see EWP. I would be happy just seeing the park from the outside in then it being in the park, and for say 5 bucks a month I would pay to watch.Though they would need more than one camera.
