So many people hated this thing. I thought it was awesome, then again I was only 2 ( Yes, I surprisingly remember.) I can see if you were a "once in a lifetimer" you'd hate it. But other than that I thought it was pretty cool.
I was 26. As they were painting the castle for the transformation the rumor was Barbie had taken over the MK in a coup and was preparing her Dream Castle.
I wish WDW would do stuff like that a bit more. But temporary, for the sake of all that's holy, please Disney learn the meaning of the word 'temporary' (*cough* hat and wand *cough*).
I remember that quite well. I remember not being to thrilled about seeing it before our trip, but once we got there and saw it in person,it wasn't that bad.
Why, Why did you have to remind me of that? What they did to the castle was horrible and whoever was responsible should have been fired. At least for DL's 50th celebration Cinderella Castle was decorated nicely so I hope they learned from their previous mistakes.
I wasn't into the Disney thing back then. Horses, work and my kids consumed my life. But to look at it now I think it was ok. But now to do it, please no!
Thanks, I just threw up a litle in my mouth This was up when I bring my GF, now wife, at WDW for her first time. After this it was obvious that she loves me if she still talk to me
