Personsally can't wait. Finally a good director with a true vision has taken the helm!

As for when I'll see it... probably not until late monday night. Seeing movies in NYC right when they come out on a weekend with the masses is miserable. People are so poorly behaved. They think they are in their livingrooms as they shout out whatever their ADHD mouths want.

Saw Shrek 2 last weekend... sat next to a family of 5. That kids were all under 8. The entire movie, whenever anything substantial happened, the father would just yell out

"Ah man, ____-t!"

You know that kids of those people are doomed.

I can't wait to see it! It looks very good. Has anyone listened to the soundtrack yet? I bought it, and it is VERY good. They cut down alot on the HP theme song, and add more new music ( thank god, because during the first and second movies, they used that theme song way too much. ) Aunt Marge's waltz music is very funny and circus sounding, the Knight Bus is wild and crazy jazz, the Dementor music is very creepy sounding ( although I was hoping for a more Ringwraith musical theme for them ), the buck beak theme song is very nice and is John Williams doing his traditional feel good music, and the Patronus song is the most beautiful arrangement of a harmonic choir and is very beautiful. I really reccomend this sound track! The movie should be great as well!

I saw a making of the third movie and was amazed at how alike the Dumbledores looked! A lot of the mannerisms were the same too! I'd be interested to see what Pippa thought.

We'll be going on Monday to see it. I can't wait! :sohappy:

Going tomorrow morning at 10am to see it. Looks great! The Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book in the series.

I'm also curious on how Michael Gambon will do as Dumbledore. Richard Harris did a fabulous job, so sad to have heard about his death. :(

By the way, thanks for the review of the score, imagineer boy. Looks like I'll have to pick that one up. :)

I have to agree about it being my favorite as well. I have been tempted to re-read it before going to the film, because I have forgotten a lot of it, but I want the film plot to surprise me all over again. But I may re-read it again after I watch the film

Actually, they said that Michael Gambon(the guy who replaced Richard Harris), was a good replacement, and fits the shoes left by Harris....lots of good reviews have been popping up on the Internet already:

For the 2nd article, you will have to have a Entertainment Weekly subscription, or an AOL connection to see it. Btw, now I'm seeing it Sunday...oh well:) As long as I don't miss 'The Chronicles of Riddick', I'm fine.

Yeah, baby!! Bring it on!! I love HP and can't wait to see the movie. I have to say I've only started reading from the third book. Now reading the fourth, and will start on the fifth this weekend. JK has a great imagination.

That's because it's the best...:D

I'm seeing it tomorrow! Hopefully it will be better than the first two. Granted, nothing will ever surpass the imagination that stems from the written word.:)
