Also, since it is actually a lagoon, I wouldnt mind seeing them put one of the old 20k subs on a track in the lagoon and have it play like its going to ram the ferry as it goes by.....talk about add to the magic. Can you imagine seeing that sub lit up under the water at night, with the wake from the nose heading for you.....that would be so sweet!!!
That would be cool!

Well, I enjoy the lake, but it can be a bit of a pain when Park Hopping. Then agian, a bunch of stuff Disney does can be a pain, but show comes 1st. If it's practical that's just an added bonus! :lol: jk.

I really do enjoy the lake for atmosphere, and how the MK has a seperated feeling.

Talk about re-imagineering into awesomeness.

Transportation is part of the fun. Especially for the experience Disney guest; you know when you've just about seen everything, hop on the Disney transportation and take a relaxing ride somewhere/anywhere, maybe somewhere/something you've never done or been before.

I think they should park the ship used in Pirates II off Beach Combers Isle in the lagoon myself!!

My lovely wife Aurora_25 is taking a day long tour. What am I going to do? I thought about trying all the park benches out like the guy in the planning video. I definately am going to find myself at the AK Lodge since I have not been in it. I very likely will be on at least one bus, one monorail, one boat, and one people mover (since it is officialy a Disney form of transportation). My goal very likely will be to ride the following rides in one day:
* POTC
* Haunted Mansion
* Spaceship Earth
* Soarin
* TOT
* Great Movie Ride
* Kilimanjaro Safari
* Ex. Ev. = If I have skinny enough thighs by then....:lookaroun

So, I will be striving to do all this and use all forms of transportation....

Ohhh....we could have a "celebrity Disney ship" Death Match. Have the Nautilus, The Black Pearl, and The Flying Dutchman all in 7SL....Every evening they could have a battle and fireworks, etc....

Sounds like in front of the Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas.

Maybe they should just move Fantasmic to the Seven Seas Lagoon for the people on the ferry to watch and us Lucky Polynesian people!!! After all the Electric Water Pageant was made for the Polyensian.

You may already know this, but it is parked at Castaway Key. Who knows, if it survives the third movie, they may move it to a permanant mooring somewhere near and dear.

The only problem is I don't know if they would put them there for several reasons. They wouldn't fit the theme very well right there since it is right before Main Street (sorry if that didn't make since). Also, since one side isn't fully finished, I don't know if they would put it. I am kind of suprised that they put the Flying Dutchman Castaway Key with the one side not finished. Sorry if that didn't make any sense at all.

That lake was placed there on purpose. The monorail and ferry boat are there to magically transport you to the "Magic" Kingdom. It wouldn't be very "magical" if you parked in the front and walked up to the gate.

its not very magical when the buses from the resorts drop you of almost at the gate, but im glad. while i dont "hate" the lagoon, im glad there is a way to bypass it, sorta.
