Which WDW ride could dissapear and not be missed by you?

But, unless I'm misunderstanding, this topic isn't about "I wouldn't miss it, because ____ could go in its place." It's just "I wouldn't miss it period."

I think you may have misunderstood me. I didn't say I wouldn't miss it because IJA could go there, I only suggested that IJA could be a replacement. Just to be clear, I wouldn't miss JC at all, ever. I'd rather see a Meet and Greet in it's place.

Ouch... Test Track/Rock N Roller Coaster... It's hard for me to hear those... but to each his/her own

Personally I just feel that Rock N' Roller Coaster is a very generic ride that would fit in better at Universal, I think its placement on Sunset Blvd. also is part of the reason I don't like it. It doesn't belong in the 1940's part of the park. Test Track is interesting enough but I could experience everything on the Parkway in NJ, so I don't want to go on a ride that I deal with every summer.

I understand how some people could like these, but they just don't do a thing for me.

The first part is why I don't like R n' R as much as some people, though I do enjoy it (if I have a Fastpass). However, I think of it as pretty much its own thing, not a part of Sunset Boulevard. Once I take that left and step through that gate, I feel as though I've transitioned to the music studio building and off of Sunset, much like walking from Caribbean Plaza to Frontierland (though less gradual). So, while I agree it wouldn't fit on Sunset Boulevard and is technically a part of Sunset, I think the transition is enough that's it's never bothered me (and theme and flow is a pretty big deal to me).

And I'm guessing that transition and separation is intentional for that very reason.

See, none of my roads have banked turns, so I can't get that on a summer day. ;)

-Wildlife Express Train / Conservation Station
-Aladdin's Magic Carpets
-Snow White's Scary Adventures
-Circle of Life: Environmental Fable
-Sounds Dangerous
-Tomorrowland Speedway

are all candidates, but Narnia is the winner for me.

:(

I forgot about the Circle of Life thing, though. I might put that ahead of Sounds Dangerous just because I didn't even remember it existed.

Though the one time I went on it I enjoyed it more than the one time I went on Sound's Dangerous, so maybe that doesn't make sense. . .

Flying carpets. Same ride as Dumbo but themed to Aladdin.
And with room for more in a vehicle and with tilt added.

I mean, Astro Orbiter is much more like Dumbo (just themed to space rockets), and no one is saying to get rid of it.

The problem with Magic Carpets is that it messes up the theme of Adventureland a bit.

You read my mind, Stitch was the first one I thought about. It is almost 100% unanimous around here that Alien Encounter was far superior in every other way. Whoever made that decision won't be telling their grandkids about it.

Well let's see, I always hate to remove an actual attraction but something has to be done with Narnia. That attraction had so much potential, and still does I guess. But if they wouldn't change it at all, it wouldn't hurt to remove that one and put something better in there. I'm all for turning it into a ride first and foremost though.

Other than that, American Idol. Really? Come on why is that there?

oh what garbage... I can sum up this "ride" for you... go to www.youtube.com, search Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Trailer... there's your ride hahahaha.

I remember the first time I got to experience Narnia..... the group I was with was leary and I championed going to the attraction.. I thought it would be a cool behind the scenes look at how the movie was made. I didn't really expect anything just like a 15 minute making of show in a theater.

So you go in... you walk through the wardrobe and I was like wow ... very cool.. the wardrobe looks neat (if I would have known that would have been the highlight I might have lingered around it a bit longer). Then to my dismay we watched on a slightly grainy big screen tv the trailer of the Chronicals of Narnia which by this point had been released for like 8 monthes and I had saw like 2 monthes ago on video. The ice queen came out and said something Cool I thought... now on to the actual attraction... ... Then the doors opened.

I actually felt like a fool for suggesting it and I was in shock that something so terrible uncreative and uninspiring as a trailer for a 8 month old movie would be packaged as an attraction.

I can't believe it is still going on....

I know I'm going to catch some heat for this but I have to say Spaceship Earth. I know that's blasphemy to state on these boards but it's not my cup of tea...personally, I wouldn't shed a tear if it was no longer around, but that's just my opinion.
