Which WDW ride could dissapear and not be missed by you?

i thought i heard the Jungle Cruise police sirens coming from a distance......what if someone doesnt like the ride? i happen to agree with him, its boring, its hit or miss on getting a good cm that is funny, and it wouldnt kill me if it was gone.

however, its not first on my list.

Yeah, Jungle Cruise really seems to depend on what king of CM you get. A lackluster CM on Jungle Cruise kills the ride.

Not liking the Jungle Cruise is just fine, even if I don't get it. As long as it's not at the top of your list, you're not crazy.

So, like, if Ellen's Energy Adventure was closed, you'd miss it more than the Jungle Cruise?

Nah, they're about at the same level. The difference is that I know what I would like JC to be replaced with. I don't feel that JC's original role needs filling anymore. IJA:TotFE would fit into Adventureland thematically and, as mentioned before, I can see real, live animals in AK.

Unlike the other posts here I have at least offered a suggestion to its replacement. If a ride can disappear and not be missed by me, but not replaced, then why should I care if it's there or not?

Sorry, I know how you feel (almost). I liked Mr. Toad's Wild Ride but that didn't stop Disney from replacing it.

FOr me, besides Stitch, these could just disappear:

1. Speedway
2.Dinorama (all of it)
3. nemo stage show (oh dear Lord I prayed my kid would have a meltdown. DH and I actually fought over who would take her out. I won. lol. I'd never been happier to take her out and she stopped as soon as we were out of the doors haha!)
4. Narnia
5. Sounds Dangerous(never done it. Sounds Lame)
6. Backlot Tour(did no one mention this?!)
7. IJ stunt show(sorry but once you've seen it once in the past 15yrs, you're good to go)

The thing that gets me about your list (this portion of it anyway) is that all of them seem to be easily updatable.

Obviously, Nemo is too new to be changed yet and Narnia probably will get SOME sort of update.

But Sounds Dangerous has been weak since it debuted, I figured back then it was a temporary place holder until they came up with a good replacement for Monster Sound Show. Now Sounds Dangerous has been there longer than MSS. I really liked MSS, SD not so much.

Backlot Tour is absolutely stale. Again, old props and sets seem like they would be easy to replace on a more frequent schedule. And, yeah, it's cool that Catastrophe Canyon can run and be reset quickly for the next tram. Until you realize that it's exactly the same thing every time. Now I only find it fun to do if I'm at WDW with people who have never done it.

I still like IJ in a way, mostly 'cause I like fire and explosions. That being said, I've wished for many years to have it updated to a different movie (please, not Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). You know it's getting old when you can pick out the "plant" as soon as they are called on and finish most of the jokes for them. Ditto to doing it with new people only.

But, unless I'm misunderstanding, this topic isn't about "I wouldn't miss it, because ____ could go in its place." It's just "I wouldn't miss it period."

I would get over losing the Jungle Cruise if they added Indy. But, I approach this topic as though the attraction was close and anything or nothing was put in its place. OP can correct me if I'm wrong. Also, the Jungle Cruise is not in anyway standing in the way of Indy. It didn't at Disneyland, and we have a big ol' expansion pad behind Pirates.

5. Tiki Room: Under New Management (gah I cried when I just went to DL and I got to see the original show, I shouldn't be this attached to AA birds)
6. Aladdin carpet ride
7. Backstage tour in the Studios
8. Stitch
9. Monster's Inc Laugh Floor
10. Buzz Lightyear
11. The whole Dino-Rama area at AK, parts of it are cute but overall I could do without it & I think something better could be put in its place.
12. Speedway
13. Little Mermaid & BatB show @ DHS
14. There's a few places in DHS that I've never even been in & could do without (that sound show, AI)

That's quite a list, and I'm sure if I think about it longer I could name even more. Quite a few of these would actually be good if they would just give them an update. Some never should have been built in the first place, or should have been built in a more appropriate place.

While I would rather have Horizons, I really wish I could strap my video games to a gravitron. That would make gaming even better.

Of course, my actions actually have consequence in video games. . .
