We ate dinner ate Chef Mickey's a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely horrible. Well, the food was horrible, the characters were great. Horrible buffet choices, the only good food was chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. :hurl: My husband is the least picky guy I know and even he couldn't find anything even remotely edible. Until they change their menu we will not be back for dinner. We have however always enjoyed breakfast there and since we always stay in the tower of the Contemporary it is very convenient.

Hi there,

I should say for the record that either one, you won't be sorry as they are both great. But if I had to pick one, I would go for dinner. I like to be in the parks in the a.m. when they open. And although you are close to the park, I feel stress and pressure trying to finish breakfast and get to the park before opening. So for dinner, the DH and I always take a break from the park in the mid day so we head to the resort, change and freshen up and then hit another park. I like going there for dinner b/c it is a great way to see the characters and kick off an evening at MK.

We have always enjoyed dinner here because my kids are not big breakfast eaters, so I hate to waste money on it, and be rushed in the mornings to get to the parks before they open.

We are just more relaxed at dinner so we can sit back and enjoy it all after a long day in the park, and it helps that we all like the food. :)

We arent huge breakfast eaters either so we ate dinner there for the first time on the last trip and really enjoyed it. We didn't feel rushed at all, the food was good, the atmosphere was great fun and all the characters spent a good amount of time at our table which is pretty good for our party consisting of just two adults.

We've eaten dinner here all four of our last trips - its a buffet, but there is plenty to find to eat. The cold salads are good, salmon is great, great kids choices, sides are good.

If you want a nice meal, dinner is great here.

Dinner has been enjoyable bc we can relax & not feel rushed - then we hop on the monorail over to MK usually for an hour or two afterwards. Great way to take in the fireworks, because the Contemporary is a short walk from MK entrance.

You can park, eat dinner @ CM, take the monorail to MK & watch fireworks, then just walk to your car and not have to worry about the mass exit crowds.
