Hi,

My family is looking to go to WDW next year around May. The only problem we came upon is looking for a room for 5 people at a low cost.

My parents would like area, where they can close the door or separate us.

Also, we would do the Cabins at Wildneress, but they do not have a good enough pool.

Which hotels offer suites?

Thanks!

Deluxe resorts or Disney Vacation Club Villas.

The POR holds 5 with a trundle bed; the Coronado (CSR) moderate offers suites (although not cheap), the All Star Suites and some of the deluxes (the WL and AKL do not hold five). Also, I read somewhere that Ft. Wilderness was upgrading their pool and adding a slide.

The family suite is going to be more expensive than 2 rooms at the values or even 1 room at Riverside.

What would your party mix be?

ANY of them! IF, one of you are willing to sleep on a portable bedcot .....:)
Been there done that! Its not too bad, but sometimes you gotta improvise.
We only have 4 in our family so its not an issue. We DID travel one time with my wifes sister.....needless to say..i got the bedcot.
After 8 years in the military, i grew used to it and after a long day in the parks...it felt NICE!:king:
However, NOTHING beats joining rooms at a value resort for the money, 2 showers, toilets and sinks.

The Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and Beach Club all sleep 5, and the pool at the Yacht and Beach Club is the best pool I've ever been in. That, and staying a short walk from EPCOT make those my favorites!

You just don't like to follow any rules when it comes to Disney do you. :(

First you recommend making multiple dining reservations for the same day and not cancel and now it seems like you are recommending putting more than the legal limit in a room.

Since none of them have piped up, I will offer this, Why not get someone from Kingdom Konsultants to help you with your stay? they can help you to find the right place for the right price for every need you have! Ive never used them before, but Im sure since they are highly recommended from others on this site, that they could help you out!

Well, to be fair, making multiple reservations isn't against any rules, per se. But it is pi$$-poor etiquette.

Putting more than the allotted maximum amount of guests in one room though is against the rules. Against the law, actually. Maybe it's a law you won't get caught breaking, but I know I wouldn't take that chance, potentially ruin my vacation just to save a couple of bucks, by being a cheap bastid.

Now, first of all.....we did it one time.
Although growing up...we did it alot.
And, its fairly common knowledge that folks sleep 5 in a room ALL the time.
However, if you read my post, you'd see i stated "joining rooms at a value"
So, i was telling the person how to do it....perfectly acceptable.

The 5 to a room is one of those bloviating "bureaucratic fire code rules" and I AM a Professional fire fighter......so i know the REAL reason behind the rule...and it aint what you might think.
But, YES, it IS a rule. unlike the adr thing from another board.
Personally, we only "violated" the 4 to a room thing 1 time. We only have 4 family members so its really not an issue.
My point was that it happens so much at the values that one would be suprised as to how often it happens.. Its another unenforced rule...now, 6 or more crammed in a room....that might attract some attention. 5 though, no one gives a hoot. Heck, when we have 4 in a room im getting extra towels all the time, one might think we had 10 in there.
As for the law? Not gonna be enforced. Period. Its like pool hopping......
Now there is a GOOD hot topic!:D

Yeah, got it. Noted. You're cheap and shiftless and unapologetic about it.

Well thanks! :)
Ya know, with this "tough economy"....we gotta save somehow.
Thanks for the kudos though, the world is a better place when we give each other compliments.

Acknowledging your lack of shame isn't the same as offering kudos.

But I suppose if you're a troll with a lack of shame, it's all tomayto-tomahto, so you're welcome, if that's what it takes to keep the gun out your mouth.
