Where is the best place to dine at Downtown Disney?

Well my fiance and I are getting married at the end of September and as a treat we are staying at a resort for the evening. The idea was to go out a do something fun in the evening. We were going to go to Pleasure Island but obviously that can't go ahead now.

So I was wondering where is the best place for food? I was quite interested in House of Blues, but let me know if you have any better suggestions?

I've only ever eaten at Raglan Road at DTD, and personally my mother & I didn't care for it. It may have just been an off night since I've never heard a bad review besides ours though.
I have a few friends who've eated at Bongos and they really liked it. Plus it always seems like a fun place whenever I pass by it.

Raglan Road - great food and service. Highly recommend the Bread and Butter Pudding. Sounds bad, but everyone I know who has tried it has been very happy with it.

I put in a vote for Fultons also, my wife and I make that a spot everytime we go. The food and ambiance is just great. Its a real break from the norm Disney restaurants and counter services. My wife just loves the King Crab there, I am not a seafood eater and they have fantastic steaks as well.

I would've said Ragland Road after my first meal there, but the second was so atrocious that I don't think I'll ever be back. The only other TS places I've gone to are Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, and HOB. I wouldn't recommend any of those either, unless food is secondary to atmosphere when you're choosing a place.

I normally would have suggested Fultons, but, since many people from your area are claiming Ragland Road, I will say that it's probably a good bet to try it.

It's not often that people from your side of the pond recommend food from here at a restaurant themed for having UK type food, so it's probably a good bet to try it out.

I'm going to try it next time actually, lol. That says alot when all of the posters showing a UK home give it kudos.

What are their prices like and can you get tickets to see the bands the same day or do you have to buy them beforehand? Always wondered this because during our last two trips to WDW, one of my favourite bands always seemed to be playing the night we chose to go to Downtown Disney (usually our first night there). I always assumed they would be sold out months in advance so didn't bother going in to check.

I've eaten at Raglan Road, Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Bongo's. Of the three, Bongo's was the only one I didn't like and that only because of the service. It seemed very rushed and trying to get a waiter's attention was impossible.

Service at the other two has been hit and miss as well with RR coming out ahead. All three had great food and acceptable prices, though IMO RR comes out ahead on the food as well [anywhere that has Guinness as an ingredient in that many things can't be bad! :D]

Depends on who is playing. Some shows can and will sell out, so getting tickets the day of the show is hard to do. If you are going to see a show and thinking about getting food there, its worth it. Go early enough and with your receipt from dinner will get you into the show earlier then everyone that is in line. Really helpful to find a good seat or standing area before the crowd gets in.
