Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

One box left to go. I used a combination of garden edging barriers and tomato cages to keep the dogs away from the plantings. There are tomatoes, basil, zucchini, green beans & cucumber spots now and tomorrow I will plant the peas and edamame. I ran out of barriers so I will need to get creative with the last box.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
It’s the last day of our May heatwave, so we decided to go the bbq on paper plate route.

Sirloin burgers, mild Italian sausage, and my contribution - sweet Kale salad.

In other news, guess who doesn’t have to cook tomorrow. 16 burgers and 8(?) sausages should last two days. Should.

Disney also announces shortened park hours when they reopen. This is one way to give the CM’s breaks. I think this is a great move on Disney’s part.
Yup, I got my email from Len Testa already.

I noticed the 6:00 party nights were extended to 7:00; whereas all the 9:00 closings were shortened to 7:00. Good for CM’s ... neutral for me, ‘cause we’re not going this year. 🙁

I will be there from December 27 through the 31st in 2020 and then from the 1st until the 3rd of January in 2021.

Well, that's Mike taken care of, but what are the rest of you going to eat?

I know this is totally off topic, but I wanted to share that tonight I hosted a band solo Zoom Recital. The students were as nervous as if they were on the school stage. When their solo was done and it went well, they were glowing with happiness and satisfaction.😊
Were families able to log in to watch? Or was it just for the students to perform for each other? Great idea to get them to keep practicing while stuck at home!!

Maybe he was including Mike. 😂

Ski’s like my dad, coffee and nicotine all day, and one large meal before bed. (Didn’t work out that great for my dad. Let’s hope Ski fares better.)
Like my grandmother. I don't remember seeing her eat. She sat in her rocking chair, smoking cigarette after cigarette and drinking coffee by the gallon. She only made it to 64 and I have pictures of her somewhere that at 60 she looked like she might be 90. I thought it was just my youthful perception of age but I found pictures of her when she was in her 40's and she looked elderly even then. Grey hair in a bun, house dress with full apron, old lady shoes and rolled down stockings and of course smokes in one hand and coffee in the other. She had 7 children so that might have caused a little of that damage. She was a pretty wild young lady. Brewed up bathtub gin during prohibition, according to my dad she drove cars at breakneck speeds and never had a license to do so. I wish I had inherited just a little of her spirit. She crammed a lot of life into those 64 years.

My son had to record himself playing one of his band songs - they are going to somehow compile all the kids that sent it in for a virtual concert. The song? Bohemian Rhapsody. That’s going to be one long concert!
Not necessarily. If the students were asked to use a metronome app which makes it possible for them to all play at the same tempo...then it is possible to have all the student's submitted performances combined and layered. So if my theory is correct, you'll just hear Boh Rhapsody only once....yet with full orchestration.
