Gorgeous day here, so of course we went out eagling. The Coventry nest looked empty when we got there, so we're not sure if the baby flegdged or if she was just sleeping. But sonn an adult flew over us as we sat in the car. I took a few pictures through the dirty windshield, but they're nothing to write home about.

As we went to leave a Baltimore Oriole flew right in front of usand paused momentarily in the grass next to us.

After a brief stop for ice cream we drove over to the East Providence nest. I think I've mentioned that the nest is in the middle of a golf course, so we park on some nearby streets to watch it. Today, Dad was out on a branch as we approached, but flew down and away shortly after we arrived. I looked through the nearby trees and couldn't see him, but Mom and at least one baby were in the nest.. We drove over around the corner to get a different view, when we saw Dadflying back up to his favorite branch. He had been down at one of the water hazards, maybe chasing a ball(?)
anyway he came back and posed for a few pictures.
