Judging by how long it’s taking me to book the same offer I could have bouncebacked in August, they are now getting the response they want.

As always, I don’t think I’m actually going to go but it’s easier to book then cancel than wait to book and lose the offer.

Site kicked me out. It’s taking a lot of effort to book a placeholder vacation.

Whilst it's annoying I can't book - I take comfort in knowing that no one else can either.

It's is however irritating that I had entered payment info and was waiting for the confirmation when the site went down (and it didn't save my cart).

There's a really neat state park at Payne's Prairie with wild horses, bison, and lots of gators. I nay have posted a few pics about it a while ago.

LOVE that area. At the southbound rest stop, you can find "the largest snake" in Florida. (Actually a nifty observation walk designed like a huge snake, but that still counts, yes?)

Just crossed into NC, which I have to admit we were not expecting.

Mike: Are we going the right way?

Yeah, that dotted line we assumed was the border between TN and GA (like it is on I-75) is altogether different on US-23/US-441.

Doesn’t help that there is a solid 30 minutes difference in arrival time between the car’s GPS and Waze.

Working on planning a trip up to Niagara Falls with the kids. Need to get them passports to cross to the Canadian side. Plus I’m SURE they’ll be back to NY soon.
