Happy New Year everybody. Hope everyone has a safe, fun holiday welcoming 2019.

Heading out to Dad's for a New Year's lunch in a bit, but first, some belated Christmas gift pick ups, in case I happen to have some international travelers swing through the area this week. (You just never know these days.)
While at it, I wished Jack happy New Year. (Dawson, not Sparrow.) He's somewhere down there waving back. I think.

Now I don't remember if I wished everyone a Happy New Year, so I'll do that now! Happy New Year! Does everyone make resolutions? I don't, but I know a lot of people do. I do like to think about important events that happened in the past year, or that are coming up in the New Year. 2018 was not bad as far as things go...much better than 2017, which was really really rough for my family with my dad's passing, our DS being bullied so severely, and getting his diagnosis and switching schools. So 2018 was so much better, but I'm really looking forward to 2019. DS will be finishing elementary school, DD finishing her first year of secondary school, which is a much better fit for her than elementary was, and we've got our trip to Disney and Universal booked and my brother's family is FINALLY going to Disney with us, as well as some cousins, so I'm stoked. 2019 is looking to be a great year for us, personally. I hope you all have as much to look forward to.

The food was excellent. The service was perfunctory at best. There were many very friendly servers. Ours just wasn’t one of them. Mike figured she had too many tables. I figure she had too little sleep.

Throw away the alleged candy and eat the wrapper... they taste the same. Other then that they are great.
