There's that, but, let's face it. Santa is looked upon, by children, as a big, Jolly man that wants to give them gifts. He has a human face and a human body, just an odd suit. And vaguely reminds them of Uncle Fred from last years family Christmas party. Even to the lightly covered odor of Crown Royal emanating through the beard. Now the Easter bunny, well, we have a real dilemma. All their short lives they have seen cute little bunny's (possibly named George, that they can hug and squeeze) so they get dragged to the mall to see that cute little creature and he/she is 5 foot tall, a non-movable, practically unrecognizable, face and looks like some freaky side show specimen. What do we expect? It scares the hell out of a kid that believes that Easter bunny's are real. Heck it's even creepy to adults that see them. We should have anticipated a few problems. Not to mention, when it comes to the ratio of TV specials, movies, and merry tunes played in stores and on the radio.... his red-suited coworker from December always wins by an unfairly favorable margin.
