When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Traditionally there is a “reception” (sandwiches, squares, veggie and fruit trays) following the funeral, usually at a venue adjacent to the funeral home.
Cremation occurs tomorrow, and his friend Dr. Bob in Hawaii is moving Heaven and Earth to get Pat home for Friday/Saturday.
There will be a celebration of life (ie - an Irish party!) in March.

We had a good 12+ cm today (5”) of heavy wet snow. Mike drove me to the doctor today. We were gone 2 hours, and when we got back, there was zero evidence that he had shovelled.
The severe cold snapped, but now the snow is heavy and wet. Just walking in from the car, my hair was soaked.

I drove home from work through some foggy fog, but not thick enough to call it pea soup.
It was really foggy this morning on my commute, but the rain/snow mix stayed south of us. It was a little misty at points, but high enough above freezing to keep it safe. I got out of my car this morning and had the most Wisconsin thought of all time. Literally word for word in my head was, "Wow, it's so warm out!" It was 29 degrees.

The average 12 Oz fountain drink costs less than 5 cents. Most big chains pay less than 2 cents. You pay more for the tax than they pay for the beverage you are getting.
Wow , $4.49 for a breast at KFC. In Costco a whole roasted cooked chicken is still under $6.'

True, but still not an unreasonable price for (fast food) chicken take-out. (I've noticed that chicken is usually at a higher price point than burgers, in many fast food outlets.)
Prices vary by location (particularly state, & city versus town), due to franchisee's lease, taxes, etc.). I recall that the regular chicken sandwich at my local Burger King is $6.99.
