The Jays did not.
I am very bummed out. I actually shed a tear. I only watch one sport/one team, so I was all in. Others here will move on to football, hockey, basketball …. Me, I will be counting the days until Spring Training.
My team did not deserve to win. I foresee lots of changes next year. Keep the pitching staff and Baby Bo because they all did their job; keep Vladdy because he is the type of player that will come back to haunt you if you trade him; pray for Manoah to come back as Manoah next year, and the rest of them, most of the players, all of the coaches and especially management can all sod off.
I haven’t read any recaps or assessments of what went wrong yet, mainly because I just can’t today; but also because I already know. Everybody knows. You can’t win if you don’t score runs. You can’t score runs if you don’t hit. And “analytics” have absolutely destroyed this team all year. Stick your analytics where the sun don’t shine.
Did I mention I am sad? Very sad.

Thank you, on both counts. I don’t get the apartment until 12/1 at the earliest. Hopefully the renovation timeline runs over, because I don’t really need it until the new year.and good luck with the apartment
I’m moving home next week, as the weather is going to get cool. The house is a disaster, my cleaning lady quit, and I’m going to need every minute between now and then to get this house in order.
Mike is going to stay at the trailer. It’s only 20’ish minutes to his new job. Besides, there isn’t room here for me and all his work dress clothes.
It’s been a great 5+ months, but I’m ready to move home. Daisy and I will come back weekends. Park closes October 31st, so we have to winterize and remove all perishables before then.
Is that 1st Dec or 12th Jan ?
Not sure how you canananananadians do the date thing ?

Canadians do it D/M/Y, smallest unit to largest.
Our CRM software at work is American based, so I’ve adapted over the years to write M first, then D.
So, to answer your question, December 1st.

To be fair, I assume the Americans write it the way they say it - October 5, 2023 = 10/05/23.

Yes. How would Canadians write it?
They would write 5/10/23 and say it as "the fifth of October"
When my dad immigrated to the US many many years ago, he filled in his date of birth as 6/1/32, as he would've done in Ireland. After working for several years, he realized there was a problem and had to do quite a bit of bureaucratics to change it from June 1 to his actual.birthdate of January 6.
