Never heard that saying before... must be Canadian, eh!I read that the coronation crown weighs almost 5 lbs. (Camilla’s - less than half.) That’s a lot of weight for 3/4 century old necks to support for an extended period.
The Canadian commentators I watched drew attention to the fact that neither Charles nor Camilla were able to tilt their heads to watch the red (looked pink to me), white, and blue jet smoke, lest the crowns be jostled.
Charles’ crown is reputed to be worth between £3 BILLION and £5 BILLION! (Camilla’s coronation crown is worth a mere £400 by comparison.)
There’s more than one reason for the saying “heavy is the head that wears the crown”.
In regards to the forward seating twitch, it was happening well before he received the crown.
