They’re 28 and almost 27, you’d think they’d be over needing supervision eh?@JenniferS did the boys hire a baby/house sitter for your next vacation for Mother's Day?
how bad was the basement when you got home? They’re 28 and almost 27, you’d think they’d be over needing supervision eh?
We were actually gone all weekend. Our boss gave us Clubhouse tickets for the Blue Jays games on both Saturday and Sunday.
3 game sweep of the Braves. Boo yah!
Spenser stayed out at the trailer all weekend; Ski stayed home and tidied the basement, making room for his workout equipment (junking up multiple other rooms in the process); and Daisy had a sleepover at the neighbour’s.
Tomorrow is deck building day at the trailer. Mike says we should be done in one day. (We did a little preliminary work on Thursday and a lot on Friday.) No pics to show yet, other than this Mother’s Day gift I bought myself:

Haven't you been told not to ask questions you may not want the answers tohow bad was the basement when you got home?

I don't want to know because I fear I'll never be able to leave home without mineI just want to know if itsas bad as when my chiblings clean.
No idea. I haven’t been down to the basement in more than a year … probably more than two.how bad was the basement when you got home?
They’re getting a little bit better. I run the dishwasher before bed two or three times/week, and it’s almost always emptied by the time I get up.@trr1 laugh all you want but my dh has read her TRs and let's just say going anywhere sans boys isn't happening anytime soon![]()
The boys do yardwork, because I can yell really loud. They do it for the grandparents without the need for yellingThey’re getting a little bit better. I run the dishwasher before bed two or three times/week, and it’s almost always emptied by the time I get up.
Ski has finally! started to wash his own clothes. (He then wears them unfolded straight from the basket for the next week, but what do I care?)
Spenser is in charge of cat litter, and taking out the garbage and recycling every Friday morning. He also does at least one grocery run/week. Again, mostly because there are specific things he wants.
I mean, we had a mortgage, car payments, and a kid (with another on the way) at that age … but baby steps.
