During quarantine I discovered the best slow cooker mac & cheese recipe. Extremely creamy. It was a staple of our holiday season.

It's this one. It's pretty basic, but sometimes basic is better. Also, I put a full pound of white American cheese in.

I love these, but only use them for the meals I know are going to be a pain to clean.
For our second (larger) Instant Pot, I bought the ceramic liner. Total game changer! I haven’t used the stainless steel liner even once since we bought it.

The crock-pot liners are kind of pricey, but I like having them on hand for when I cook things that might stick.

I have two sizes -- one for the regular (like above) and one is a smaller size. Always keep a few of those boxes in the kitchen. As Jennifer mentioned, they're not used every time, but if something is really messy and sticky, I don't hesitate to use a liner. (I don't think they're that expensive -- maybe just in Canada?)

I love them. Target has them for $3.19 for 6 (large). For anything I know it would take more than $0.50 of soap and water for me to scrub, the liners are definitely worth it!
