Are they still living in Africa, or have they been been given a new home someplace else?

They're still in Mwanza, on the shores of Lake Victoria.

While orphans, some of them still have surviving siblings or grandmothers in the area.

We have them set up in a home, with live-in staff that care for them. Also, an adult presence prevents homeless adults from moving in and taking over.

Schools and government offices are closed tomorrow here. Some schools already decided to close Tuesday too.

The schools here in Wake Country, NC are closed tomorrow as well. The main roads are clear as a bell, but, the streets and side roads are an absolute mess. Should be melted by tomorrow night, Tuesday night at the latest.

I just bolted out of a football viewing party the second the game ended so I could make it to my hotel in time to watch the X-Files in peace. Idk why I'm excited since I gave up on the original series when Mulder left the show.

Just got back from Niagara Falls. The light displays seemed more plentiful, but less impressive than in past years. Still worth the trip though.

The best displays were compliments of Mother Nature. The ice buildup on everything! the closer you got to the Rainbow Falls was amazing.

Looks like Epcot has not cornered the market on ugly kite canopy thingies:

First we drove down the strip and throughout the park; then we parked the car and walked for an hour or so.
After that we crossed the Rainbow Bridge and entered the States. Did ya feel my presence?

Our sole purpose for crossing over was to eat at Olive Garden. We had the heart-broken Tammy with us, and she's only ever been there twice.

Our server's name was Cassie, and she was excellent. She did however, forget our chocolates.
When I mentioned it to her on our way out the door, she handed me this handful. There are an even dozen there, so that divides evenly by three. Two for Tammy, ten for me. Just kidding, I shared nicely.

@JenniferS , really liked the picture of the Canadian Mounties. The image appeared to have that old time style that reminded me of the Electric Water Pageant, from the Seven Seas Lagoon. If they ever extended that water pageant to include Canada, I could see these same images with the Canadian national anthem music playing in the background.
