Actually, as long as you have heat, hydro, food, and everyone you love is tucked home safely, there is nothing more exciting than a big storm. On a weekend ... even better!

My Fitbit is confusing waking stairs with bending to lift up snow and heave it into a 4 foot high pile at the side of the driveway:

I made 4 batches of cookies today: plain shortbread for my husband, apricot jelly shortbread also for my husband, sugar cookies for my son and oatmeal raisin with chocolate chips (don't ask) as a special request from my daughter. For myself? I ate a disgusting amount of raw cookie dough.
