Obviously we are going to make Mexico pay for it.So the lights are on the Canadian side shining on the US side. I wonder who pays that power bill?

I would assume us, as the view is for our benefit; we're just using your falls as the screen. So the lights are on the Canadian side shining on the US side. I wonder who pays that power bill?

I don't always agree with everything that @JenniferS says, but, when I do, which I do in this case... it kinda saddens me, eh!I would assume us, as the view is for our benefit; we're just using your falls as the screen.

Great minds.Word on the street is that the US may turn off the American falls temporarily to do some bridge work around the falls. Not like they did during the 60's (I think it was the 60s) when they had it off for months....
Speaking of the U.S. falls, this article just popped on my FB this morning.
Apparently you guys need to replace two 115 year old bridges that access Goat Island, and are considering shutting your side down "to a trickle", temporarily redirecting the flow over the Horseshoe Falls.

If it happens, I'll personally make the trip and take first hand pics.
If this were Jeopardy, fastest finger wins; irrespective of my having a more complete answer.I beat you to it...but you plussed my post with pictures.
Watching the manatees is my favourite part of the Living Seas. So gentle.
