I was feeling like this winter in NJ has been more typical of the winters in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Toronto. Anyone on this thread familiar with those places?😂🤔
I remember colder winters 20+ years ago, and snowier winters 40+ years ago.

This winter just seems normal to me, we've been spoiled by some recent mild winters.

We're just older now, so we feel (and dislike) it more!

it’s not the static cold air temp that gets me so much, but throw in a little wind and…oh boy…!!!!! :cold:
The other morning it was 34F, but with the wind chill the real feel was 25F.
I had to get Matthew to work at 9a, and forgot my coat, so only had on a t-shirt. Fine in our neighborhood where the homes and trees block a lot of the wind. But down the road at the local 7-Eleven, which is on a rise with nothing substantial around it, where I got out to pump gas, the wind was slicing through my old bones like a knife…!!!!! 🥶

Yes I agree with everything you said. Now I see why so many seniors retire in Florida or Arizona. I just missed school on Feb. 12th and now at the end of this coming week snow is forecasted again. One day the HIGH will be only reach 30. I really do miss those milder winters @Tiggerish

The last couple of years, it seems like you have gotten more snow than my area of Wisconsin. That being said we got about 3 inches last night but still there isn't even 12 inches yet. We have been getting more freezing temps then precipitation.

Lol 😂 I should read your location more carefully. Even though you are a Minnesota Vikings fan , you do NOT live I'm Minnesota! YOU LIVE IN WISCONSIN. SORRY! My mistake.

I don't live near Madison either. :) 2022-2023 we got a normal snowfall. Last January my area had 0 inches of snow and the ground was completely clear of snow, February less than an inch then it melted and the ground was clear, March we got a couple inches and then immediately melted. It was a very unusual winter in my area. We were in a belt across the state that got virtually no snow it snowed a lot to the south (near Madison) and a decent amount further north by Superior. Remember your averages take into account Fall too and that is when we had more snowfall. But what do I know I just live here. I guess in my post I should have said that it seemed like you got more snow (which I now edited) since I didn't do the extensive research.
