Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

James is eating, that is all
We had Spenser up here for 11 days, as he needed some support as he started a new anxiety med. He ate us out of house and home.

I spoke to him tonight - he says he’ll probably be back next week, as there’s no food at home. Also there’s no stress here. (No guff. Mommy cooked for you, cleaned up after you, did your laundry, put gas in your car so you could drive home, AND let you watch “Is It Cake?” four hours/night on the only tv in the apartment!)

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.
OK, so.for.anyone who's game to try to interpret... (except AI!)

Last night dream...hubs and I are in our living room, and there are two giant cracks in the ceiling. Like, these cracks are so big, I feel.the ceiling will surely fall in on us. He says he's gotta go to.Home Depot to get this and that to fix the ceiling (my husband is NOT handy) and I'm yelling, just get someone in to fix it. Like, actual professional craftsmen, who know how to repair a ceiling.
I interpret this as ,
It's time to get yourself some popcorn and begin decorating the Christmas trees. 😉

James is convinced he'll be able to pick up freezer meals from us. roflmao. He knows how to cook well enough to survive and he has my gravy recipe

Beautiful pics.

What’s your favourite building in NY? For skyscrapers, it’s the Chrysler Building for me; nothing else is even close.

I’m enthralled by so many of the grand apartment/co-ops buildings. Most obsessed with the Dakota (not a John Lennon fan, so that’s not the reason), but it’s nowhere near the prettiest. The Ansonia, the Dorilton, and any of the Emery Roth buildings on CPW are more impressive … but they don’t hold the mystique that the Dakota does for me.
Thanks. All are phone pics. I left my camera at home. I can even take out people if I wanted to in my pictures which sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I have no idea on most building names so I'm at a lost :hilarious:

For tall older buildings....my favorite is the Chrysler Building and the Woolworth building
For tall new buildings. The new JP Morgan building is nice and I like 8 Spruce Street.

I had to Google 8 Spruce. I don’t know the Financial District at all … we’re Midtown people. 8 Spruce was designed by Canadian born Frank Gehry, who also designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

I’m a little more familiar with the Wentworth Building. Every hop on/hop off bus tour we’ve ever done goes right by it.

The San Remo built by Emery Roth famously sits across from Central Park, and is featured in the NYC montage shown when Judge Judy returns from commercial break.

Well then I will refrain from posting. Have a good day.
Knowing Minnie, I’m quite sure she simply meant that AI is not for her - not that she doesn’t want you to post. I guarantee no offence was intended.

I found it very interesting, even though I too, am steering as far away from AI as I possibly can. Doesn’t mean that I didn’t appreciate seeing you work the AI magic.

Totally agree that she would never want to offend me.
I DID think that she didn't want to view any more posts on the AI topic though.
If that is true, then she would not be alone.
Therefore I will happily continue to participate here....I only meant that I will cease to post on the AI topic ;)

? Why would you stop posting about a topic you're interested in? You asked what others in the thread thought of AI, and I responded. (I never suggested any halt to the topic, as others may be as interested as you are. I may bypass those discussions in the future, but am still interested in various other topics that you, and others, share here.)

Thanks, Jennifer. That is exactly correct (even if you spelled offense as "offence")! :joyfull:

Just saw your post above, Steve. All is well -- post away, whatever you want to.
