Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I used to love milkshakes back when you could drink them through a straw without bursting all the blood vessels in your mouth. If I wanted a cup of soft ice cream I would have asked for it. Yes, I'm old fashioned, so get off my lawn.
When I go to a place that legitimately hand spins them, I always tell them extra creamy, not extra thick.

That being said, before everyone switched to nasty paper straws, I could "drink" the straight up soft serve that Disney calls a shake in mere minutes.

Grape jelly is my favourite, followed by homemade strawberry freezer jam. I have a tremendous feeling of deja vu; so I suspect we've had this conversation before.
Probably the canning strawberry jelly one as I remember you mentioning freezer strawberry jam. I haven't made grape jelly in years as I haven't been able to find concord grapes in bulk at a good price in forever. One of the vendors at my local farm market added grapes to their farm and the vines have hit their stride and they've been adding more vines so hopefully I'll be able to do this every year from now on.

Here you go. There were a bunch of these jars at the grocery store the other day. You can stock up, since you won't be making any until next year.

Corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup, not to mention citric acid and sodium citrate, no thank you
I cook my grapes with the skins as to be able to use the minimal amount of pectin and mine has about a quarter of the sugars but I use organic sugar then lemon juice to brighten and preserve

Probably comes from thinking that if you have to work extra hard to just consume it one will burn off whatever calories they are consuming. I don't want to work that hard for my guilty pleasures.

2 topics....#1 Tomorrow the band lesson schedules I created for the 2 schools I teach at ....they "kick in". There are some kids that I met 2 years ago when I was assigned 3rd Grade Lunch Duty. Now 2 years later they are my 5th grade band students and they and I are excited for tomorrow and the rest of the week.

Topic #2 .....Does anyone here on the Bob Saget thread ever ask questions to BING AI ? It has been helpful to me numerous times!Screenshot_20240917_205400_Bing.jpg

I told it my town and stated that there is new construction going on in our shopping Plaza that includes Shop Rite, Kohls and McDonald's. This Bing AI Copilot was able to tell me that the new construction building I have been seeing will be a Shake Shack. For those who don't know, you pose your question like you a speaking to a person and it answers you in multiple sentences as if it was a person.

Funny story about the elephants. They were 20 miles away from me for months and moved to NYC a couple days before. I travelled 120 miles to see them in NYC instead of Newport 😂

Beautiful pics.

What’s your favourite building in NY? For skyscrapers, it’s the Chrysler Building for me; nothing else is even close.

I’m enthralled by so many of the grand apartment/co-ops buildings. Most obsessed with the Dakota (not a John Lennon fan, so that’s not the reason), but it’s nowhere near the prettiest. The Ansonia, the Dorilton, and any of the Emery Roth buildings on CPW are more impressive … but they don’t hold the mystique that the Dakota does for me.
