I may or may not have previously mentioned that I promised my husband that there would be no travel for the rest of the year after our October trip to Ireland because he wants to put up all our Christmas decorations this year (a combination of family trips and family deaths has meant that we haven’t gone all-out since at least 2019)

We got one room totally decorated yesterday, and have three naked trees in other rooms. By the time we’re finished, we will have seven Christmas trees, plus many WDW-style swags and garlands.

We don’t go completely nuts outdoors, but I am insisting that “all the decorations” means ALL the decorations, because we have a gloriously kitschy circa-1960s giant plastic light up Santa head that we inherited from his godfather, and he absolutely hates having to hang it up on the house. When he’s been installed, I can post a pic of Santa Head (that’s what I call it) if anyone is interested/curious.

It sounds like what they used to hang up on the water slide at our local pool. They haven't hung it up in years, though. I always liked that thing.

We have gone all out inside and out as we usually do, we have about 9 trees of various sizes and lots of Disney style decorations. Please post some pictures.

@Tiggerish , I do not think that you participate in Tripadvisor, but this thread I started there might interest you.
Would you open this link and then tell me your feelings on the matter here on this Bob S thread?
Hoping this finds you well.
Steve
