I'm not a Halloween person, either. It was never big in my house growing up. I do enjoy the fun, homemade costumes that kids wear, though. The generic super hero costumes are the worst. Nothing against them, but there's no creativity.Hallowe’en is not my jam - not even when I was a kid. Others are really into it, so I’m glad they enjoy it. It’s one of those “no skin off my nose” situations.
Like Comic-Con … I don’t get the dressing up and the LARP’ing, but it doesn’t hurt me, and it doesn’t hurt them, and it’s the only place that Howard and Raj can score, so have at it!
A) It was crappy candy, so I wouldn’t eat it.Wow you must have polite trick or treater or you put ot candy hardly anyone likes
Sending lots of prayers and pixie dust it wasn't the bad typeMikey has a tick bite. Ski* says it’s a deer tick; which is not the good kind. Our appointment to have the bite looked at it got cancelled, so he’s got another appointment for tomorrow at 6:30.
The mouth parts look intact, and we cleaned the area with alcohol. The little bug-ger was alive, but I’m sure hours in an airtight pill bottle have remedied that.

Back during the summer, I had a tick bite. Didn't even notice it for a few days, so never pulled it out or whatever. Went to urgent care and was tested for Lyme. Results were negative. (The Northeast is a high lyme tick area, so that's why the doctor immediately tested for Lyme.)Mikey has a tick bite. Ski* says it’s a deer tick; which is not the good kind. I always accept it for the Christmas season, so we can see Christmas lights on earlier in the day. But once we get to January it's just depressing.
I'm borrowing my dad's car tonight and tomorrow. So I came home to park in my garage, that I'm paying for, and there's someone else parked in my spot. With all of the headaches I've gone through over the past week and a half, I'm not very pleased.
I texted the property manager. He just responded back as I was typing this and said, "Oh sorry, I'll fix that tomorrow". They aren't the most organized people, so I'm betting that's their mistake.
I parked outside in the parking lot. I'm 90% sure it's a mess up on the landlord/property manager. So where did you park? Or did you find the owner of the car and they gave you your spot back. Sounds like a towable situation if you are paying for that spot.

Hopefully just a one time mix-up. It happens.I parked outside in the parking lot. I'm 90% sure it's a mess up on the landlord/property manager.
Fingers crossed for a good outcomeMike saw a doctor about the tick bite.
The wound is clean, and it’s too early to tell if there’s an issue. All appears fine right now.
If it continues to hurt, gets larger, develops the telltale bullseye pattern; or if any symptoms such as fatigue, rash, dizziness, or confusion present, then he will need antibiotics.

Hope he'll be o.k. Not everyone gets the "usual" symptoms (visual or other). I don't know what disease(s) ticks may carry up in your area of Canada, but he can also request the specific (to your area) blood test, as a backup.Mike saw a doctor about the tick bite.
