Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Hallowe’en is not my jam - not even when I was a kid. Others are really into it, so I’m glad they enjoy it. It’s one of those “no skin off my nose” situations.

Like Comic-Con … I don’t get the dressing up and the LARP’ing, but it doesn’t hurt me, and it doesn’t hurt them, and it’s the only place that Howard and Raj can score, so have at it!
I'm not a Halloween person, either. It was never big in my house growing up. I do enjoy the fun, homemade costumes that kids wear, though. The generic super hero costumes are the worst. Nothing against them, but there's no creativity.

I have (kind of) heard back from insurance today. My mom called the collision center for me, since I had no free time to do it today. Plus, she knows the owner... she had his son in class. They gave us a approximate "floor" of what the final estimate will be.

With that knowledge, I went and test drove the Terrain in Madison after work. I liked it, and I'm set to get it Saturday.

Mikey has a tick bite. Ski* says it’s a deer tick; which is not the good kind. Our appointment to have the bite looked at it got cancelled, so he’s got another appointment for tomorrow at 6:30.

The mouth parts look intact, and we cleaned the area with alcohol. The little bug-ger was alive, but I’m sure hours in an airtight pill bottle have remedied that.

He’s a doctor … on Quora, so he should know!

Back during the summer, I had a tick bite. Didn't even notice it for a few days, so never pulled it out or whatever. Went to urgent care and was tested for Lyme. Results were negative. (The Northeast is a high lyme tick area, so that's why the doctor immediately tested for Lyme.)

I'm borrowing my dad's car tonight and tomorrow. So I came home to park in my garage, that I'm paying for, and there's someone else parked in my spot. With all of the headaches I've gone through over the past week and a half, I'm not very pleased.

I texted the property manager. He just responded back as I was typing this and said, "Oh sorry, I'll fix that tomorrow". They aren't the most organized people, so I'm betting that's their mistake.

So where did you park? Or did you find the owner of the car and they gave you your spot back. Sounds like a towable situation if you are paying for that spot.

Mike saw a doctor about the tick bite.
The wound is clean, and it’s too early to tell if there’s an issue. All appears fine right now.

If it continues to hurt, gets larger, develops the telltale bullseye pattern; or if any symptoms such as fatigue, rash, dizziness, or confusion present, then he will need antibiotics.

Fingers crossed for a good outcome

Hope he'll be o.k. Not everyone gets the "usual" symptoms (visual or other). I don't know what disease(s) ticks may carry up in your area of Canada, but he can also request the specific (to your area) blood test, as a backup.
