Probably not. What was once the largest Macintosh Apple Orchard and supplier in the country was in Chazy, NY. A place were my grandparents lived and many of my other relatives as well. I just went by there a couple weeks ago when I made my trip up north. The Apple trees used to come right up to the road for as far as the eye could see. Now it just looks like they sold most of the highway adjacent land to single family housing but you could see behind them that most of the trees still exist. I know they still ship Apples down south because the stores have them in small multi-apple bunches and most of the bags I have seen say from Chazy, NY. They aren't the only orchards in New York State, but it was the largest. If you were to look it up Chazy is probably less than 20 miles from the Canadian Border.

It's not that I wouldn't still eat it, but every time I see the stuffing in a Turkey it makes me wonder who thought that it was a good idea to stuff seasoned bread in the carcass of a dead animal and cook it, if they had other options.
