"Don't worry what Mr. Steve from Brick NJ says, he's been stuck in the 5th grade for 39 years!" (Sept. 1985-current day)
(Today is the first day students report to school)
This year I've been asked to teach in two school rather than one.
Here is my instructional area in my "new" school...View attachment 741046
Wow approaching 40 years ! Great accomplishment. A gym buddy of mine retired from teaching high school full time, collecting SS , teacher pension then got bored at home. He still works out in early morning in the local gym and now he substitute teaches in the same high school. He said what he likes is he doesn't need to make any more lesson plans.

We have two things beyond lesson plans that I would NOT miss if I retired.
1) Student Growth Objectives

2) Professional Development Plans ( I can't find any video on this .... yet that's ok..it would be boring even if I could find one)

I go into classrooms tomorrow and Thursday to present the band program and recruit this year's students.
Today I am killing time until lunch duty...thus I am free to post here.
