Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I still wouldn't want to be in a camper when it's snowing.

Next week is supposed to be hot here, too. But not as hot as last week. Last week was brutal. Next week is a tad better.
This campground is seasonal - closes October 31st.

There are many people who camp in the snow, both in Canada and the US. Not my jam, but based on the FB groups, there are plenty of people who absolutely love it.

I loved when we went camping as a kid. I remember some hot and some cold days. But above temperature, I remember the weather. One year we were camping on my birthday, and there was a tornado warning. We hung out in the bathrooms for a while. What a birthday. 🤣
Did I ever tell you about the time we were camping in a hurricane …?

That's incredible. I could not imagine if someone had to relieve themselves in the middle of the night when the temps are below freezing outside their cold tent but somehow they probably figure out a way without getting sick from the temps.

@PUSH I am going back and forth (as a tv viewer) tonight between the US Open Tennis and the Phillies at the Brewers.
Do you follow the Brewers at all....or just the Packers?
I consider myself a Brewers fan, but I'd be lying if I said I watch any of their games or keep up with them very much. I watched the Wisconsin football game today instead.

Today is the last day of summer break. It's bittersweet. I'm ready to get back into a routine, but I'm also going to miss some of the freedoms summer brings. But overall, I think I'm ready to go back. I have been for the past few weeks.

Now I just need to get through the first couple weeks of teaching routines and procedures. That's always a daunting task.

Wishing you and your new class of kids a happy and successful school year. (When I was a kid, we always went back to school the day after Labor Day as well.)

Thank you. For us, it depends what day of the week Labor Day falls on. In Wisconsin, in order to start before September 1, you have to obtain a waiver from the state. September 1 fell on a Friday this year, so many districts got a day in last week. Ours decided to not start with a one day week. Last week it was on a Thursday, so we started with a two day week.

Our district put in for a waiver but not for as early a start as some schools around us. One school will be starting their third week, we will be day 4 tomorrow. And I might have to call in sick, I have had a cold the last couple of days, no Covid, but I do have a fever and I just feel miserable. I'll go to bed early tonight and see how things are in the morning but since it is supposed to be 95 here tomorrow and we don't have air if I still have this cold it could be downright miserable for me. It just isn't ideal when it is so close to the start of the year.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon. My mom has been in school for two weeks, and she said colds are really going around, too. She has one, but it's not that bad. She also said it isn't covid.
