Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

OK. Your post that I liked and my follow up to Jennifer according to wdw's software were only 60 seconds apart.
No worries. I'm basically agreeing with you, and also voting for Jennifer's "weaker" title, which uses both the A and the The. 😀

I do heartily recommend the parentheses, for the reason I described. Many people.will be unable.to.make both, and the parens give them "permission" to only save one date, if that makes sense.

It does make sense. You and Jennifer have helped a lot 😉

This new font is giving me a headache. That and the (contrast dye assisted) cortisone shot and bee sting (right thumb) I got earlier today.

The freezing has worn off in my hip, so it’s Tylenol time. I will revisit everything @SteveBrickNJ has typed tomorrow.

In short though, as long as you don’t insert incorrect dates, nothing you choose will be wrong. People will open the card and be excited for all involved; irrespective of which wording you choose.

One last thought, now that the blasted cat has come home for the night and I can go to bed, maybe make it more personal by using their names? I apologize, you’ve probably mentioned your daughters name, but it’s late so I’m going to use placeholders. 🙃

A Celebration of Jennifer & Mikes Marriage
A Celebration of Jennifer and Mikes Wedding
or maybe
Welcome Home the Newlyweds,
A Welcome Home for the Newlyweds
(is newlyweds an old-fashioned term?)

@Tiggerish is on to something. In addition to the fact that saying “a” new couple means it is for any new couple and not simply your daughter and her husband to be, I don’t like the word “new” before couple. They are not a new couple - they are already a couple. They will be a newly married couple 😉

Food for thought. Time for sleep but I will focus on your helpfulness tomorrow. Thanks again. 🙂

Waiting for “Only Murders” to drop (at 1:00 am EST, I hope), so I’m killing time going down the Reylo YouTube hole.

Jack and Rose are my #1 favourite romantic couple. Kylo and Rey are an oh-so-close second.

I know many people HATED the sequel trilogy, but I loved it.

Both bad boys. (Okay one more so than the other, what with all the killing and taking over the Empire, and whatnot.) Both dead at the end of their movie.

I would love for TLJ to come back to the big screen. IMAX preferably. I would go see it 10 times.

My next movie will be “A Haunting in Venice”(comes out 9/15), if I don’t end up seeing “Barbie” again before then.

The pup needs to go out before bed, but there is a ginormous skunk foraging through our recycling at the side of the trailer.

I heard it first, then Daisy; then silly boy Mike opens the door and shines the flashlight right at it. Pepe was not in the least bit fazed. Thankfully he didn’t spray.

Now we wait for him to decide our recycling is boring and toddle away, so Daisy can go pee.

Gee...good points here.
OK @JenniferS , @Tiggerish and @Swissmiss
Today (privately on my own...not on this thread)...today I am gonna get out numerous copy machine papers and create various samples. I'll include the ones suggested here and hopefully create others as well. Then I'll share the various samples with my wife and my daughter and hopefully this will be settled by the end of this work week at the latest.
Thanks again for all those who helped!

I gotta log off for now.
I'll be back later tonight and again in the morning.
I can't even find the words to express how thankful I am to all of you!
So I am leaning toward the front of the postcard displaying:

T W O DATES

O N E L O VE

The back of the postcard would display a photo of my daughter and her fiance on the left side and the two dates and the specifics on the right side.

*
I created it on google docs and sent it to my wife and daughter. Of course there will be graphic designs added to both sides. I'm just presenting the wording to be used.
Let's see what they think 🤔

About two hours ago we were watching hurricane coverage, and I said to Mike, “What’s that smell?”

At the exact same second we both shouted, “Skunk!” Daisy started barking … Mike restrained her and I flew to the screen door posthaste to shut the outside door!

Pepe had returned to the scene of the crime. The recycling was emptied first thing today, so hopefully he had no cause to linger.

Time for Mike to go check. Daisy is ready for bed.

ETA - I took her out. All clear!

It's only in the 50s here this morning, and isn't supposed to get much higher than the upper 60s. It definitely feels like fall, which is welcome after last week's extreme temperatures and humidity. However, when we go back to school next week it's supposed to be hot again. It never fails that the first week of school is miserable temps in our building.
