Enjoy the sights and the food and drink! If you plan to visit the same area again may I suggest you take a non stop from JFK to Copenhagen on SAS instead of Philly -Toronto , Toronto - London , London - Copenhagen
Yes I had that all researched but the wife wanted to save money. She learned the hard way...huh?🤔😂

Might depend on price, sometimes having connections can be significantly cheaper even if a non-stop is more efficient timewise.
I have a friend with 4 little ones and his wife who will regret his choice to get cheaper tickets. There is a non stop from JFK to Manila. He chose a cheaper fare - EWR ( Newark ) -LAX 3 hour layover , LAX-Tokyo ( 17 hours ) 4 hour layover , Tokyo - Manila.

Maybe they won't regret it. Maybe they could only afford the connecting route.

They are treating their extended family to a nice vacation spot ( Boaracay ) when arriving. Had to go to cheap long route as a reason for not flying non stop. They will regret it.
How will they regret it ?
They get to go to an amazing vacation spot ?
Non stop they wouldn't.
I would take that in a heartbeat.

Wow, your friend is treating their family to a trip of a lifetime. I'm sure everyone will be very grateful of getting to go on such a trip and spending time together will not be something they regret.

He already texted me. Multiple connections to go across the world ? No thanks when there is a non stop. " Non stop they wouldn't " doesn't make any sense.

He's a true immigrant success story in the USA and my friend . He's treating his huge family to an island not many go to. In regards to regret I was referring to the long exhausting multiple connections plane ride not the vacation itself.

COST.
If I write it in bold will you actually comprehend ?
He sacrificed going to cheap route via plane tickets to pay for all his family that lives in the Philippines a trip to the exotic island full ride. You don't seem to comprehend that. I advised him he would be better off going non stop but his wife talked him into the cheaper plane tickets and longer routes to get to the Philippines.

In fairness 9/10 times you wouldn't have an issue on any leg.
In the past that was true, but in the last 5 or 6 months USA and Canada has been a mess. Numerous canceled flights and BIG LENGTHY delays. It is on the news constantly or you hear stories of frustration from friends and coworkers. I am going to my Denmark/ Norway thread now to post lots of good photos...😎👍😁😊

Have a good time. I have been flying and yes many delays in airports when I travel. One thing I learned was when I was in a short delay I went to the United Club to ask to use the bathroom to avoid the long lines at the bathroom by the gates. The UA desk attendant advised if I pay $65 I can rest relax in the private United Club area ( day and night compared to the madness by the gates ) and continual food and drink offerings throughout the day and night. I think I can eat and drink well from what I saw what was being offered if I had a long delay but I had a short delay and went back to my gate to catch my plane.

You said it in your own post. He went cheaper so as to be able to pay for everyone.
Are you deliberately being obtuse or do you not even comprehend what you are posting ?
Either way you are starting to be troll over this .
