@NYwdwfan , be careful if you go swimming in the Long Island beaches. Just saw a news report that there have been 5 shark attacks in the past week or so, along that beach coastline. (Not sure if you and your family ever go there in the summer months, but just passing this along as an fyi only.)

I went to Walmart on Tuesday and I was surprised they didn’t have the school supplies out yet, but I was pleased they didn’t.
I'm actually ready to start summer school, which starts on the 17th. But I'm not quite ready for a full school year yet.

I went golfing again this morning, but this time did 18 holes. Last week we just did 9 holes. Again, I did a decent job for having not golfed in 6 or 7 years. My back nine was much better. I hit three consecutive bogies, which is really good for me. My strengths were chipping onto the green and putting. Part of my problem in the fairways is my cheap clubs. I think I'll invest in a little bit better set, since I'll probably going out with my friend most Fridays for the rest of the summer.

I was going to say that too but I didn't want to burst @PUSH 's bubble. I know what it is like because I'm still saying I'm not doing bad considering I had back surgery almost a year ago.Technically, you haven’t golfed in a week.
I never was good at it anyway. I was hopeful because Tiger won the Masters after 4 back surgeries, so I guess I have to stop using that excuse.
So after I complained that Walmart had school supplies out the other day, I did make my first back-to-school purchase of the year yesterday. I was at Target, and they had some of the teacher things out. They had enough matching caddies, and mine are all cracked, so I bought some to replace them.
Not gonna lie, I was pretty pumped about the caddies. I was with some friends, and they didn't understand.

I was in Target today in my area, and they have put out a few aisles of back-to-school supplies already! What floored me was that they had already removed their barbecue/grilling section supplies (it's only July 8th . . .
).
