Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Madison's previous record for snowfall on March 25 was 5 inches. They got 12.1 today. Meanwhile, all of our snow has melted already.
Winter started late, so she really is hanging in until the last moment this year.

Thanks to the rain all night/morning, most of the snow (but for the piles at the curb) on our north side of the street is gone.

Winter started on time here, and it continued in full force all season. We had a couple snow days and delays before Christmas. Then we had a lot more in January and February.

Just saw Middleton, which is pretty much Madison... they kind of run together... got 13.9 inches. And none of us had winter weather advisories, watches, or warnings. They said it'd probably be about 3 or 4 inches.

We’ve got high winds. My FB feed is full of pics of downed trees and hydro lines, and sparking transformers.

Mike’s brother who lives outside of city limits, about 15 mins away, has been sitting in the dark for 2+ hours.

Mother Nature has less than a week to figure out this “out like a lamb” crap.

Around here March came in like a lamb so will likely go out like a lion, or a lamb. Nature doesn't care what kind of cute phrase we mortals come up with.

Mike’s brother’s power is still out. They’ve packed up and gone to their daughter’s.

Normally this would be a great thing, as they can spend time with their grandkids, but they just got home on Saturday after spending 10+ days in Italy, so they’ve got lots of laundry to do before work resumes tomorrow.

Ah, yes the one time when hydro didn't matter.

so now they can repay all the times she may have came home to do laundry at their house

I got a wax warmer, so I ordered a pack of four Disney scents last night:

Main Street Bakery
Ice Cream Parlor
Spaceship Earth
Caribbean Beach

I got my mom some for Christmas a couple years ago, and I like the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe scent. PhilharMagic was good, too. The Soarin' orange was good, too, but it's too sweet for my liking when it's there consistently.

I'll review the scents I ordered when they arrive.

Ding ding! They're slated to arrive Thursday.
Nice!
I've never tried the oils.
I have the diffuser and a bunch of oils (the figi scent from Soarin', the GF & BC lobbies and Pirates) as well as some candles (BC/GF lobby, and HM). I like to dab a few drops of the oils on my vacuum cleaner filters and it fills the whole house with scent when I vacuum. I also put a couple drops in the water of the floor steam cleaner for the same effect.

Have you tried the candles? I just wonder how they compare…

That's an interesting idea. (Only problem is that you have to do house cleaning, in order to get the scent. ;) )

The waxes actually came today... a day early! I really like the Main Street Bakery. The other ones may need to be tested before I decide whether I like them for sure or not. But the Ice Cream Parlor and Caribbean Beach smell good. The Spaceship Earth does smell like Burning Rome, but I'm not sure I want that in the whole apartment. To be honest, I got that one mostly because I wanted to see if it actually smelled like Burning Rome.
