Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim, was fantastic in her role. The events so beautifully tied into Breaking Bad.Spenser liked it. Mike did not.
Something about Kimmy should have stepped up and saved him. (Greek to me.)

The struggle is real! I always had so much stuff to haul!!! I never came home for the summer though. I always stayed at school and got a job, though I did have to move from one dorm room to another, or to an apartment.Today I am trying to have faith that everything my daughter wants to take to Liberty University will fit in my Mazda CX-9 and her VW Beetle. It's always a challenge to bring my daughter there for the start of school...or to bring her back and the end of the year. The Mazda is a 3 row / 7 passenger vehicle....the 2nd and 3rd rows fold down to make one really long "trunk". Yet you should see the amount of stuff my daughter has! It's like someone sold their home and today is "the closing". I need a moving van!
Didn't they need things like bedding? Or did they just buy a new set when they got there? When my girls went off to college we lived in Vermont. One went to Tulane in New Orleans that the other went to Colorado College in Colorado Springs, No driving them there so the things they took needed to fit into a FedEx box and made it very limited in amounts. I don't think it ever cost me over $50. to ship their stuff. Of course, I did have to pay airfare.
Bedding was in the box. They weren't likely to change sheets often anyway. Teens are like that. They also got on the plane with checked baggage, carry on and backpack. Pre-TSA days!Didn't they need things like bedding? Or did they just buy a new set when they got there?

I remember when I was a freshman, I had this big car....a 77 chevy malibu, so it was quite roomy. My brother, who is 6 foot 4 and was about 400 pounds at the time, had a tiny little 78 fiat spider convertible. My mom demanded that I haul all his stuff in my car because he couldn't fit much besides himself into his. I told her MY stuff was going first....any room I had left over, he could use for his, but I wasn't leaving my clothes behind so that he could bring a whole bunch of replaceable stuff. It's just HARD to fit everything into one vehicle and she wanted me to leave my stuff at home and take his. I feel your pain!!
I hope she and all her stuff made it!!

I am going to read your TR, but I don't have time quite yet, so you may get bombarded with likes and comments in a couple of weeks. I know what those are... the very endangered metal stemmed, blooming soundagonia. They came up naturally every spring and stayed in bloom until mid-October. They were fed a regiment of popcorn and fries after dusk on a daily basis.Show young people this and see what their answer is

Did the summer vacation seem to go by too quickly?First day back to work... check! Two more days of inservice (plus Open House tomorrow night), then I don't go back until next Thursday when students arrive. At least officially... I'm going to have to go in a day in between to have things ready for the first day.
Always does. Although I was just talking with my dad, and we both said it seems like our Disney trip was two years ago, rather than two months. Crazy how summer can fly by, but it seems like forever ago since we were at Disney... which was at the beginning of summer.Did the summer vacation seem to go by too quickly?
