We had our first frost last night!!

I think that is ZERO in canandianspeak other wise known as Celsius (centigrade). It's 46F here and is probably going to stay that way all day. Someone up north must have left a window open and allowed that evil cold stuff to leak south. I'm looking at you Minnie!We had our first frost last night!!

Tomorrow is National Donut Day....but it doesn't seem like it has been a year since the last one....so I tapped on the "National Donut Day" hyper link and it said there are 2 such days each year.
The other one is the first Friday in June.

I’m going to be crazy busy tomorrow (later today, technically), so I thought I’d post this now.
It was exactly one year ago that our dear friend, Nemo14 passed away. I know she had stepped back quite a bit during the final few months of her illness, but it sure does feel quiet around here without her.

OMG. I woke up this morning thinking about her!! (For some odd reason, I was recalling her yearly comment: "Turkey before tree.")

Please accept my condolences to you and your family, on the anniversary of her passing.It is also exactly 10 years ago today that my own mom passed away. I miss her dreadfully.
I thought about Nemo the other day, too. As well as Lucky and unkadug. Miss them all.

I’m back to work in person again. Back to the almost 4 hour daily commute. Huge blowout weekend, so hopefully I won’t be there for long.
Actually sold all 39 houses, but as usually happens, a couple have drifted back. Need to re-sell those, and get all my brick selections done. Maybe a week or two.
The first (week)day on the highways post-turning back the clocks was INSANE! Thank goodness for Waze and toll highways!

Yes, reddish brown color is about the best we can hope for this foliage season. Around here, most leaves are brown and maybe half have already fallen on the ground. I think your trees are holding up slightly better than ours, at this point.
