Light news day. The major topic appears to be getting a haircut. I can't speak for anyone else but I feel assured that so many are staying neatly coiffured. I have difficulty finding a barber that can perfect my 4 inch wide center part. It is quite the challenge.

That's ok! I suddenly had an overwhelming desire to buy some 4th of July fireworks today. Nothing like starting early I always say. This is what I saw in our local mall today. They might as well just leave everything up year round.

My thought process is why do Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas celebrations have to be separate? Why can't they be celebrated simultaneously?

Yah, we got hammered last night, and it's still going on outside -- but the winds are half the intensity of last night. Power went out overnight, but came back on. Hope you didn't lose power.

My thought process is why do Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas celebrations have to be separate? Why can't they be celebrated simultaneously?

Because one celebrates death and pre-diabetes, one is grateful for blessings received highlighted by gluttony and one is celebrating a birth along with unbridled materialism. OK, now that I laid that out, I guess they do fit together.
