Students don't start until September 1st. But staff starts early.

Masks are optional in my district. No air conditioning but it isn’t too hot right now. No students are with us yet, that starts Monday.
I never get a summer breakToday is my last day of summer break. It went way too fast.

I think I know where that is, but to be honest, after living here for over 10 years, I have spent very little time downtown. The last time I was down there was a couple of years ago when I went to one of the more famous BBQ emporiums. I think that picture is down in that area. The glass looking building in the background is relatively new, I think.

Now to buy a vehicle that can haul it. This floor plan is referred to as a “full time couple’s trailer”. Sleeps two comfortably (in the upgraded King-sized bed) … four in a pinch.

No immediate plans, as we’re just getting into new projects opening, and the US border is still closed to us, but in the spring ideally.
We want to go west - Banff and BC; east - to the Maritimes where Mike spent many childhood summers; and all points south. No interest in going north - there be the black flies … and bears … and black flies as big as bears.

Looks like a nice camper. I hope you enjoy it. Where will you be heading off to when you get it? Fort Wilderness at WDW? Wisconsin has a lot of great campgrounds too.
Edit: I see you already posted some places you plan to go, they sound nice too.

I'm sure that cost a whole lot of Canadian Play Money, so be sure not to cut corners on whatever vehicle you get to haul it. Make sure you have more then enough horse power and suspension to deal with the weight (loaded) and the torsion that movement inflicts on the vehicle. That is a way to insure that you have many happy miles and fun times.
Also when you do get it, if neither you nor Mike have any experience with a fifth wheel unit, please be sure to practice in some large deserted parking lot before you hit the road. Backing and maneuvering in traffic can be tricky with a rig that big and you need to get the feel for it before hitting the dusty trail. I have driven in Canada so I have an idea how Canadians generally drive, eh!
Wow, look at me, preaching like a worried parent. Sorry, I just have had a lot of experience with those things. My Father sold that type of trailer for years and I was part of the family that spent many hours on the road with them. So just friendly advice that you probably have already thought about (or aboat) and planned. Goofyernmost OUT!
