@JenniferS , do you have any Easter plans (family dinner, perhaps)? Since there's just the two of us, maybe I'll buy a ham slice and some veggies. Or, I could buy some lamb chops instead. Those are the two dinner items that are sort of traditional down here. Do you have any traditional Easter dinner items you prefer?

We're coloring Easter eggs this Saturday and that's always fun.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Will your Blue Jays get to play in Toronto or are they stuck playing in Buffalo until the US/Canadian border is open?
Dunedin for now; then when it warms up, Sahlen Field in Buffalo until at least July 1st.

We traditionally do a ham, but the place where we get it is always a zoo, and given that I won’t go to Walmart or Costco, there is zero chance that I will go to a specialty delicatessen that is 10x more busy.

So, turkey with all the fixings it is, pre-prepared at our local FarmBoy and re-heated whenever. Same thing we’ve done for the past two Christmases and Thanksgivings. It will be just the four of us, as I don’t allow people in my house right now. Neither of my brothers will wear masks for more than two minutes (to drop something off or pick something up ... plus they’re not following COVID protocols in their everyday lives), so they can’t come over. 🙁

I’ll post pics. I pick up the meal on Saturday, but we’ll be eating on Sunday. With leftovers Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ....

My big accomplishment so far this spring break: I scheduled my annual eye doctor appointment.
Hopefully by the time you get there you will still be able to SEE them. They put my last annual eye appointment twice over the last year. So it has been really close to 2 years now. I have an appointment scheduled for April 14th, if they don't cancel that one too.

My last one was December of 2019. I haven't been having issues with my vision, so I just put it off due to COVID. I scheduled this one for June 8th, the week after school gets out. And I'll be well past being fully vaccinated by then.

Or file for divorce. The other person might think it's a joke.
My personality doesn't blend well with April Fools jokes. I do not get pleasure out of embarrassing or scaring others and I have never seen a practical joke that I thought was funny. Just me, I guess! It wasn't just when I matured either, I hated it as a kid as well.

No, your right, sometimes I'm not much fun at parties!
